Had anyone known that their work would be churned about in a meat grinder of other people's art to create a technology that puts their own career at risk, they would obviously not have consented to this.

Regardless, just because something is in the TOS does not make it morally ok or in some scenarios legally binding.

@KSlash18 @Arraveriii Artists are incredibly important in the vtubing space. They make the models, they draw fanart.

Gen AI was trained off of artists work with no consent, it steals and regurgitates their art.

There are of course other reasons to hate it of course but respecting artists is vital.
