@georgelenny123@VMSportIE What other basket do you suggest putting them in? What players from other provinces would you start in place of who did today? Genuine question from an Ulster supporter
1. Jonathan Haidt has not only shown correlative relationship between screen usage and anxiety/depression/body image issues... he's shown a causal link. Giving kids devices, is like handing them an invitation to mental illness. https://t.co/ggRu95AiIy
Before the water turned into wine, someone had to do the ordinary, tiresome task of filling the water pots.
We want the new wine to just appear, but Jesus calls us to fill the jars first.
In short, God often wants us to participate in our own transformation.
Wanna make more putts? 🤷🏻♂️ Try this. Many good putters put their lead hand on their lead leg and aim the club and the face with their right hand. This ensures the club is square. They then setup around that square club and make a reassured stroke knowing it’s square. Try it, many do it, not many notice they do it.
“Boys are in trouble. Many have withdrawn from the real world, where they could develop the skills needed to become competent, successful, and loving men.”
@jonhaidt says the boys are doing badly and we need to start paying attention. https://t.co/L4htLOln7h
@Sheeds2010@AndyGoode10 Been doing it for a long time, just never penalised for it. I reckon the ABs had a word in the refs ear before the match. He was definitely looking for it from minute 1
Finding the right supplement can change your life.
There's one in particular that's had a massive impact on mine and it's Magnesium.
Magnesium is needed for your cells to function yet some studies show that up to 90 % of people are magnesium deficient.
This is due to the Western diet and how we grow our food.
Symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency:
· Insomnia
· Osteoporosis
· Chronic stress
· High blood pressure
· Irregular heartbeats
· Mental health conditions
· Decreased quality of sleep
· Muscle twitches and cramps
· Fatigue and muscle weakness
I found out that I was magnesium deficient through a blood test so I started taking 200mg of Magnesium L-Threonate and it's been a game changer.
First, it's changed the way I sleep. I sleep faster and deeper than ever before.
A study was done on older adults with insomnia and found that 500mg of magnesium for 8 weeks helped them fall asleep faster, longer, reduced nighttime awakenings and increased melatonin production.
Second, it's made me more relaxed and less stressed.
Low magnesium levels have been correlated with increases in stress, muscle tension, and cortisol levels.
Benefits of taking magnesium:
· Improved sleep
· Decreased stress
· Anti-inflammatory
· Increased relaxation
· Improved bone health
· Improved mental health
· Boost in exercise performance
There are many different types of magnesium to choose from.
The one I take is a blend of Magnesium Glycinate & Magnesium L-Threonate because they come with the benefits listed above. Magnesium citrate is one I stay away from as it has a laxative effect.
If you find that you're suffering from the some of the symptoms of magnesium deficiency or want something to assist in helping you sleep try taking some magnesium.
It might change your life.
I've been married 18 years.
Here’s the advice I’d give myself if I hopped in a time machine to the night before the wedding.
1. When money gets tight. Don't cut out the gym membership It's an investment in your future.
2. It's ok to have fun. I'm funny, but being fun is something I'm working on. I grew up "if we had fun yesterday we're not doing anything today."
3. Don't let your ideal stop you from doing what you can do. It'd be awesome to invest $100k. You have $10. Use that.
4. God will use your wife to talk to you. Listen to what she's saying. (This should've been number 1 honestly.)
5. Most of the things you got mad about, you won’t remember the reason you got mad. So don’t make mountains out of molehills.
6. When it comes to jobs. Chase skills not money.
7. Work, reading, being with her, movies, sportsball, and church aren't hobbies. Get a hobby.
8. She’s not supposed to think, act, and feel like you. And don’t try and make her.
9. If there’s a disagreement You start the reconciliation process. Why? Because who asked who out? Who asked who to marry who? (Male feminists are excused from this one)
10. Go to bed at a reasonable hour and get up early. Because you're not busy, wait until you have kids.
11. When the babies come. Don't rush through it. The days are long and the years are short.
12. She knows when you’re upset so stop saying you're not when you are.
13. She’s on your side. She wants you to win. She’s not your opponent.
14. Take more walks with her. 15. Don't let her overwork herself.
16. Pay for her to get her nails and hair done. She wants to feel beautiful for you.
17. Most of the time forgiveness is a process, not an event
18. She's the one you prayed for. Don't forget it.
