The non-arbitrary era begins today…
We’re throwing in our biggest contribution to Bitcoin we could come up with
Digital Matter Theory represents an opportunity for all who seek to identify new purpose and value that can be derived from the discoverable patterns within a block
We recorded a detailed breakdown of DMT as a concept and explain the operations to formally register the existence of patterns and deploy, mint, and transfer NATs (Non-Arbitrary Tokens) in ▶️ watch here or on YouTube 👇

Summary:
In this episode, we delve into the intricate universe of Digital Matter Theory (DMT) and its potential applications in the blockchain space. We discuss how DMT enables the creation of non-arbitrary tokens by recognizing patterns in data. Safeguarding the provenance of these elements allows the launch of unique projects tied to them, leading to a diverse ecosystem of tokens.
We delve into hybrid tokens, a result of minting NFTs harboring fungible aspects. By parsing through Bitcoin data, meaningful patterns can be codified and used for creating projects. We touch upon the inception of bitmap and the role of communities like Yuga Labs or Rare Sat Society in relating patterns within Bitcoin data to create ecosystem value.
We also discuss the concept of 'bit informatics', where the search through Bitcoin's blockchain for patterns holds immense potential for creating new tokens or games. In the process, we unravel the creation and utilization of Nats or Non Arbitrary Tokens.
Throughout, we draw parallels between DMT and the early days of NFT, stressing the need for a unified method for creators. We underscore the value potential of non-arbitrary data in the metaverse and the chance to create ecosystems through the recognition of patterns. As with every episode, we invite listener feedback, and encourage questions via YouTube and Twitter. Bitcoin miners are done pretending.
Hash price fell from $440 to $36 per petahash; @Binance Pool walked away, and public miners are building AI data centers instead.
The big voices stay quiet.
EP337: We ask a mining pool insider what actually saves Bitcoin's security budget.👇
Bitcoin Mining Has a BIG Problem! | Interview w/ Nick Bain @WhiteBit | TBR#337
Bitcoin miners are getting squeezed, and almost nobody with a big audience wants to say it out loud.
We sat down with Nick Bain, head of business development at WhitePool, the mining pool run by @WhiteBit, to talk about what it actually looks like from inside a pool right now. Nick has been in Bitcoin mining since 2019, from merge mining at Jax Network to brokering energy for miners and AI data centers, and he gives us the numbers straight: hash price was about $440 per petahash at the 2021 peak and sat around $36 the day we recorded.
We get into what the security budget really is, why more hash power does not automatically mean more security, and where Bitcoin's value comes from in the first place. Nick shares a story from Mining Disrupt about a public mining executive who wanted to 51% attack Bitcoin SV and short it, and the only thing that stopped him was how it would look. We talk about why miners are practical businesses, not marketers, why the public miners are pivoting to AI, and the TSMC agreement that keeps new ASICs flowing even when demand is weak.
Then we lay out the four fixes on the table: make Bitcoin infinite, tax holders, merge mining, or a second token paid to miners. Nick walks through why Dogecoin is worth more per block than Litecoin, its own mother chain. We disclose that we helped launch @natgmi, and we explain how it is tied to Bitcoin's bits field, why its emissions fall as hash power rises, and which pools are already distributing it.
The part that stuck with us most is how fragile the safeguards are. If ethics is the only thing between a large miner and a profitable attack on a smaller chain, incentives are doing all of the real work, and those incentives are shrinking every four years for Bitcoin itself. Hash rate charts going up and to the right hide that, because cheaper, more efficient machines can add hash power without raising the cost of attack.
What we keep coming back to is that every holder will eventually have to pick a path. Either the supply changes, holders get taxed, fees somehow show up on chain, or Bitcoiners accept a second asset that pays miners. None of those choices are comfortable, and that is exactly why the people with the biggest platforms keep avoiding the conversation.

Invest in Bitcoin only if you want to lose it all.
The security payroll is dying.
Binance Pool shut down.
SBI Crypto and Poolin already quit.
Public miners are pivoting capacity to AI.
L1 fees are still under 1% of miner revenue.
2028 opens a multi-billion dollar annual security hole.
You cannot protect wealth on a network whose guards are being paid less every 4 years.
SpiderPool, F2Pool, AntPool, ViaBTC and Luxor are already mining $DMT-NAT as a second subsidy.
Same block. Same hashrate. No protocol change.
Why are you not getting it?
SpiderPool, F2Pool, AntPool, ViaBTC and Luxor are already mining ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247.
Same block. Same hashrate. Second subsidy. No protocol change.
The market still prices it as a small experiment.
The energy math already treats it as necessary.
Day 504 -
Stop stacking Bitcoin while the security payroll dies.
Binance Pool shut down.
SBI Crypto and Poolin quit.
Public miners are fleeing to AI.
Fees still under 1%.
Stack the asset the biggest pools are already mining to keep the lights on.

#NatTo1bChallenge
Easy to tell retail “buy the dip” when you’re the exchange chair.
Now answer this:
Binance Pool just shut down.
SBI Crypto and Poolin already quit.
Public miners are dumping hashrate for AI because SHA-256 hashprice is getting crushed.
Bitcoin isn’t dead. The security payroll is.
L1 fees are still under 1% of miner revenue.
2028 halving opens a $7.4B annual hole.
2032 turns it into an $11B deficit.
You cannot protect a $2T+ vault while cutting the guards’ pay in half every 4 years.
@SpiderPool_com, @f2pool, @AntPoolofficial, @ViaBTC and @luxor are already mining ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247.
That’s well over half the hashrate.
So which is it, CZ?
Is the security budget fine, or are the biggest pools already taking a second subsidy because the energy math is ugly?
Pick one.
First @NSACyber, @FBI and @CISAgov told everyone to unplug. Now @QuestDX is breached. If this turns into an AI black swan, most people will panic. We'd rather be ready to buy, and the full video shows how.
Bitcoin’s security budget is on a programmed countdown.
ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247 is the only second subsidy that doesn’t require changing the protocol.
On their own show: “I find it highly unlikely individuals are going to be using the blockchain ever, frankly. I think it's going to be businesses, banks.”
Nobody at the table argues. That is the fee payer list.
@PresidioPod@moneyball@maxawebster@dksf
Why is onchain so dead?
Well, the cyber war has already started, and a potential black swan event is around the corner.
This feels similar to the COVID moment from 2019 before the world shut down.
We break down how to hedge for a worst-case scenario where AI introduces a major flash sell-off event 👇
Why The AI Black Swan Event Might Be Around The Corner! BE READY TO BUY!
In the last 48 hours the @NSACyber, the @FBICyberDiv, @CISAgov and even the prime minister of Japan all told people to take their systems offline, and almost the only place anyone is talking about it is @X. That is exactly what late 2019 felt like for us. We remember the videos of smoke in the streets in China months before the rest of the world was paying attention, and we remember what that did to markets once pandemic day came.
We walk through the wave of breaches: two critical PHP bugs that leaked before the patch, roughly 1.5 million unpatched servers, a decade-old GitLab flaw, LiteLLM shipping a credential stealer, @Railway pausing every deployment, and a certificate authority whose private key was literally the number four. We talk about who might be behind it, what @OpenAI disclosed, and why major US banks are now finding AI agents acting inside customer accounts.
Then we bring it back to positioning. We compare Bitcoin's COVID crash, a 50% drop in about a month, with the slower bleed we have lived through this year, look at the doomer prep posts going around, and talk through a theory that a crisis like this ends with everyone being handed government-approved stablecoins. We are not predicting any of it, and none of this is financial advice.
What we keep coming back to is that the scariest part of a black swan is not the event, it is how it changes what you do in the moment. When there is real blood in the streets, almost nobody has the composure to buy, and the people who come out ahead are the ones who set aside dry powder before the panic, not during it.
The other lesson from 2020 is that time still moved forward. Fear content spreads faster than anything else on these feeds, and if you let it fully take over, you risk sitting out the recovery that came six months later last time. Being aware and prepared is different from being paralyzed, and that difference is what we are trying to hold onto right now.

RESET Experiment Update ✍️
Trac's agentic-mining design is encouraging the exact behaviours and particpation patterns we set out to produce:
earn
⤵️
re-stake
⤵️
participate
🔁
Executing token distribution in this manner has so far produced participators, not just holders.
And we've now open-sourced RESET Mining plus its Agentic DEX in our github:

Day 502 #NatTo1bChallenge
If you think Bitcoin survives on fees alone after the next couple halvings, you’re either lying or you don’t understand miner incentives.
$DMT-NAT is the only second subsidy that doesn’t require a soft fork, a hard fork, or trusting a foundation.
Deny it all you want.
The pools already didn’t.
If you're going to FUD Bitcoin, at least do it correctly.
Chamath says that AI will break cryptography and the obvious target is Bitcoin.
Maybe.
If cryptography is broken due to AI, every system in the world is the target, not just Bitcoin.
The correct way to FUD Bitcoin is to discuss the inevitable decline of the security budget.
But even this has a solution in ethereum:0x249130f5e2dd4cf278180c0df8273f3592ad1247
CHAMATH SAYS BITCOIN WILL EVENTUALLY BE HACKED AND GO TO ZERO
Speaking on the Moonshots podcast, billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya warned that advances in AI could eventually break Bitcoin’s cryptography.
He argues that the community is too divided to coordinate a transition to quantum-resistant security.
“I just think it’s capped, and then I think eventually it gets hacked, and then it goes to zero.”
