@HMRCcustomers hello, my accountant submitted a request for a tax refund that hasn’t been processed in over a month. Are there issues with refunds? Should I claim a refund myself from the HMRC app? Thanks

@HMRCcustomers Request was submitted on 20/09. According to the above link should have been processed by 28/10. Then it also conveniently states: “HMRC may need a further 12 weeks after 28 October 2024 to issue your repayment.”

@HMRCcustomers Yes, self assessment for last tax year 2023/24. I imagine status being “pending” (confirming with accountant)
