My 6 yr old told me on the way home today how funny it is that all the teachers at his school have the same first name, Mr or Mrs.
His mind was blown when I told him they actually have real first names like Steve and Laura 🤣🤣🤣

@272BookFaith My son is George and his favourites were The Smartest Giant by Julia Donaldson and any George Pig Stories - I think George’s Racing Car was a favourite 🚘

😎Holidays are over! Loved taking some time out for family, relaxing & reading but now I’m back on it! And if anyone wants a #YA recommendation I loved the #Usborne published ‘Birthday’ by @Mer_Squared, a transgender love story which was a real eye opener (& tear jerker!)
@MsWinterTweets Deja vu to the same situation a year ago when my son was about to start school! Only the iron, obviously confused by its usage after so long, tripped the electricity and I had to balance precariously on a couple of boxes to try to turn it back on. Haven’t bothered ironing since!
🎉Random number generator has given me No.1 & the first comment I can see in my feed is from @teach_missd! Your book of choice ‘The Girl Who Speaks Bear’ from @sophieinspace will be on its way if you can DM me your address.
Well done & thanks to everyone who entered! 👏
📚Today I have early access to Usborne’s new September titles! There’s some great new fiction on the way so let me know which title you’d most like to get your hands on and I’ll pick someone at random this weekend to send one to!

@TheMrHowden No no no, ready salted are the least exciting flavour! Not a teacher though so think I’m allowed to say that? Current favourite is Tyrells Furrows in Aberdeen Angus Beef.
Ooh does that make me sound posh? Does normally require a trip to Waitrose to stock up on them! 🤣
@Teacherglitter Loved General Studies! Don’t remember any classes, just the exam. Got an A which Birmingham University counted so got into my preferred course 😁
