How to engineer serendipity ?
It's a question that struck my mind last year, when I realised that a lot of great things I enjoy in life (work, content, friends) were discovered through a series of accidents
So I take an attempt to write about the topic - https://t.co/U2UBZPDDkj
I have been thinking about this topic for a long time - the constant need to stuff things into our schedule, on work and off work.

If you are between 23 to 34 year old kindly read carefully:
This season has a way of making you slow down and think. You look back at the year, the small wins, the mistakes, the silent prayers, and sometimes you quietly wonder, “Am I behind in life?” While others post vacations and soft life, you are calculating data plans, praying for light, thinking about rent, and hoping things eventually get better. But the truth is this…. you are not failing. You are simply growing in a hard country.
By 23, many of us are already in survival mode. By 27, life has tested our mental strength. By 30, we have seen enough to write a book. By 33, we finally understand that peace is real wealth. Along the way, you have lost friendships, outgrown some people, supported others while fighting your own fears, and still, every single day, you wake up and keep going. That quiet resilience is strength.
So give yourself grace this season. You may not be where you once dreamed you would be, but you are wiser now, stronger now, and more grounded. Life is not a race. Your path is simply different. Some people succeed early, some later, some restart at 30, and all of it is okay.
As you step into the new year, choose peace over noise, discipline over vibes, action over excuses, prayer over panic, and real growth over empty chatter. Keep people around you who genuinely clap for you and correct you with love. And always remember this: you are not behind. You are becoming. One day, quietly and unexpectedly, your story will change, not because of luck, but because you refused to give up on yourself.
Okay it's time to admit it to myself: I love thinking. There I said it. I like being in tune with my body too but I hecking love thinking.
Give me some of that dissociation yes please, I ain't trying to be some no mind chatter motherfucker I just want to be more functional.
I could have stopped in 2021 or 2022 after many failures, but I kept building.
And even after several successful products, I still keep building new products.
Never stop building.
Most techies in Bangalore are pretty lonely. Away from family, no real friends, stuck in traffic, high rents, children not getting good values, peers into status games, cringe tech meet-ups, shoves body with coffee & alcohol, hair-loss, tummies popping out & pays highest taxes.
4. “Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to take the time out to enjoy the beauty in life.
It’s like we’re zombies.
Look up and take your headphones out. Say ‘Hi’ to someone you see and maybe give a hug to someone who looks like they’re hurting.”
I was talking about this with a friend - intelligence doesn't necessarily ensure you get every other stuff right in life
How letting go sometimes create contentment
But super intelligent folks would find it because of their self agency to put efforts and change their situations
So many "smart" people end up angry, struggling financially, alone and lonely, with no loving family or good friends.
So many "simple-minded" people are overall happy, are in a stable financial situation, are surrounded by love.
Character often matters more than intelligence.
It's always a delight to read up your pieces and also acts as a gentle reminder for me to start pushing my writing out.
Keep up the good work @moretothat :)
