Updated errors in Supabase plans for SaaSPrices Postgresql calculator, they had 1/2 memory setup.
@Xata has new prices that looks even better compared to other providers now for the "Low preset"
Google is still the cheapest but requires more setup and work from devs.
@xata database is removing their free tier Xata Lite 😢
But they are updating their prices, their paid plans are actually cheaper than before and they are more competitive now.

@supabase still offer the cheapest option in this configuration
Added @Railway S3 block storage to SaaSPrices
The newcomer surprises with coming in as the 2nd cheapest option in our calculators medium preset. No egress costs can potentially push them to being the cheapest option based on your use case!

Planetscale offers servers from $5 up to $1510 for the 32 core 256 gb ram beast.
The 1 cpu 8gb ram options seems to be really competitive in that segment, would strongly consider this for my next project!
Added @PlanetScale PostgreSQL to SaaSPrices Calculator
Looks like we have a new strong contender, they have nice prices for storage and egress and comes in as the cheapest option for some use cases!
@wesbos@luisrudge I made a tool to try comparing services like this

Vercel gets pretty expensive compared to cloudflare
I see profiled X users advise against the "free plan".
I like to build things that is more of a community than a pure product.
And I dont think those would work without the free plan.
The free user is joining in and is creating some of the product by their content. And then the pro user pays to get access to pro features.
Should work, right? 😅

@levelsio I made a calculator to try comparing costs for serverless hosting. It's not too bad being on vercel, but VPS is generally cheaper.

To scale you'd need more VPS and a load balancer.
So its not always comparing one cost to another
