🚨 WATCH: Keir Starmer takes a dig at Andy Burnham
"It would be remiss of me not to comment on one of Manchester's great heroes moving on after almost a decade. So let me congratulate Pep Guardiola"
Observing PM Starmer during #PMQs
I'm noting that in spite of the current turbulence in his party - he remains calm, collected and dignified - with occasional flashes of humour.
I'm reminded of Hemingway's famous phrase :
"Courage is grace under pressure".

Today the voices of division will be loud.
They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us.
That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for.

There is no magic wand. It took 14 years of Tory mismanagement & chaos to destroy the country and will take time to rebuild & make good. We need calm, intelligent leadership. We need @Keir_Starmer as our PM.
#StandWithStarmer
I am a Labour party member and am not going to vote for Andy Burnham Wes StreetIng or anyone else. I am going to vote for PM Starmer because he won a landslide victory under two years ago & needs at least another two years to demonstrate economic and political success.
