@MaxPollard6 spot on with everything he says in this interview. Such a nice change having transparent and realistic leadership. Looking forwards to what next season brings!
😂🍪 This dude just walked out of a job interview and immediately recorded this in his car.
He knew the “biggest weakness” question was coming… brain completely short-circuited… and instead of the safe “I care too much” answer, he hit them with:
“Oreos. I’ll eat ‘em until the milk’s gone. Could be two, could be twelve.”
The way he says it with that deadpan delivery and then just accepts his fate is SENDING me.
Man, I genuinely feel bad for the guy… but I’m also dying laughing. We’ve ALL had that one moment in an interview where your brain just yeets itself out the window. Kid’s still out here job hunting. Somebody hire this absolute legend before he stress-eats the entire Oreo aisle.
Who else has completely bombed a “what’s your weakness” question?
@CJPhillips1982 I moved 'up north' a few years back so this is the first time I've seen the team in person since back in 2018...what a poor performance. Feel sorry for the fans having a 4 hour journey home after than. Can't think of one positive to take from that...none.
@SandraJonesNASA It going to be strange after Friday - watching the live feed throughout the day (and night), watching the press conferences...what do I do with my time after Friday?
Tomorrow, Miles and I are travelling to King’s College Hospital to meet some of the team working in Charlotte’s Lab. We will be able to see first-hand how your donations are being used to support research into brain tumours.
It has now been just over10 years since Charlotte passed and not a day passes when I don't think of the daughter I lost to this underfunded cancer.
In that time, very little has changed in treatment. The standard NHS chemotherapy Temozolomide was licensed in 1999. The six-week course of radiotherapy also remains unchanged.
But one thing has changed:
Charlotte’s BAG has raised over £378k directly funding research at Charlotte’s Lab, King’s College Hospital, London.
The difference with our charity is simple: we self-fund everything.
No salaries
No overheads
No advertising
No merchandise
We even cover PayPal and PO Box fees personally, so nothing is taken from the charity account.
This means 100% of every donation goes directly to research at Charlotte’s Lab, with whom we work closely.
Please do think of us if you are thinking of donating to a brain tumour charity.
A RT helps so much TY

@elsleightholm I know it's been said before, but I reckon we should let all world 'leaders' pop up to space for a day or two to realise how fragile the world looks from up there. I bet that would solve a lot of problems (or maybe I'm living in a dream world?)
Imagine donating to a brain tumour charity where 100% of your donation goes directly to research and where you are told how your money is spent.
Charlotte’s BAG has raised just over £337,000

I'm so glad that some students come to me for advice rather than worry on their own. One of the students I have seen today has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour.
They will have their operation next week at King's College Hospital and stay on the same ward Charlotte stayed on. I told them to look out for the beautiful fish tank and about what a lovely ward it is. I will email the team and ask them to say hello to them if they are on the ward. They left with a little something to pack in their bag.
