I'm not a former cable news insider. I didn't spend nearly a decade at a US cable news network. I was never a highly-placed source quoted in leaks to the press.
From @FTVLive today about @HowardKurtz
"Kurtz show does more politics than it does media analyst and he never cast an objective eye on his own network."
Grammatical errors aside, it's just false. "Never?" Your Cable Gamer found 4 examples in 5 minutes.
What's happened to FTV?
The article provides three links to document how @greggutfeld ‘routinely’ mocked Wallace while he was at Fox News. Two of them don’t mention Gutfeld at all. So that means Beast’s definition of ‘routinely’ is ‘once’.

Cooper is CNN's most-watched anchor (a very slight distinction) so CNN went with the stunt of having him anchor from Ukraine. So Cooper pretends that after 10 minutes on the ground he knows what's going on, even as he big-foots reporters who've been there for weeks. (2/2)
The supercilious "Fox News is trying to compete with us" claim from CNN PR (aka Stelter and Darcy) is a daring bit of gaslighting. They want people to forget it's CNN that desperate to compete with Fox. The ratings don't lie. And that's why @andersoncooper is in Ukraine. (1/2)
Trying to Compete
That's what @CNN left-wing media critics @BrianStelter & @OliverDarcy said about @FoxNews in their propaganda newsletter
Hope @ChrisLicht will take care of CNN's dishonest media pundits, as it's not a good look when Americans can see they are blatantly LYING
@TheCableGame@thetoyman1@pdoocy@KristinFisher Remember when CNN and the unified mainstream propaganda machine had a meltdown when Trump pulled Acosta's press credentials for assaulting a female WH staffer. Pure hypocrisy.
Remember this? Nobody on the panel objected to the notion of banning @pdoocy & @KristinFisher from the briefing room. The Cable Gamer thought of this when we were told Doocy hasn't been at a White House briefing for almost a month now. Is this true? Did CNN get its wish?
On @ReliableSources, @DavidZurawik goes on tirade about denying White House press passes to FNC, equates letting Proud Boys onto Air Force One with giving seats to Fox News. Pleased @BrianStelter: “You’re going to get attention for that.”
@johnnydollar@HARRISFAULKNER I've watched Darcy for years. I'm familiar with the type. There's no mystery about why he is so hateful to @HARRISFAULKNER. It couldn't be more obvious. As for the lying, he gets away with it because his bosses gave him the green light. "By any means necessary."
Questions, questions. Why does Zucker allow @brianstelter to go after parent company ATT? Is it a pretense? Why would ATT fund a competitor to CNN? Maybe bc OAN is not a competitor to CNN, it wants to be a competitor to FOX. DIvide (FOX's audience) and conquer, the Zucker plan.
Something odd here. @JohnBerman goes out of his way to have the daughter blame @TuckerCarlson youtube videos. The Cable Gamer wonders why didn't he ask which videos & what was the misinformation? No follow-up just hit Tucker & run? Also doesnt youtube block misinformation videos?
"He watched some Tucker Carlson videos on YouTube, and some of those videos involved some misinformation about vaccines, and I believe that that played a role.” https://t.co/20cXLzbeOS
And the M. Night Shyamalan crazy twist ending to the story of CNN smearing @KristinFisher as a Proud Boy who should be banned? @BrianStelter announces that CNN has hired her. What a twist! They never did believe their own attacks. It was showbiz: a sham by unprincipled hacks.

@johnnydollar@brianstelter@oliverdarcy had a 15-paragraph story up on Ed Henry's Fox lawsuit in near-record time. But there's no story on cnn dot com about Henry's lawsuit against @brianstelter and @AlisynCamerota . This is standard procedure at CNN. Example:

Yesterday it was @vv1lder, today it’s @RickSantorum. No one should be fired for what they say or tweet.
Let’s see if the same people rightfully outraged about Wilder getting fired by the AP are equally outraged about Santorum getting fired.
It would be a classy move if @JedediahBila called in to @FoxandFriends Saturday morning to say her goodbyes to Pete Hegseth and @willcain - and thank the viewers who made the show such a big success.
A little good will can go a long way.
Lemon's clumsy bit of self-promotion was just that. Contrast with the disgruntled FOX host quietly trimming social media contacts, and taking too many days off. Is this just doldrums or an exit strategy?
