It’s #BellLetsTalk Day!!! If this past year has taught us anything, it’s the importance of mental well-being and how a simple conversation can be so helpful to someone in need of help. So...let’s talk!!
Amazing!! Anyone who knows me knows I’m more of an early bird than a night owl so my annual day of tweeting is coming to an end. Looking forward to the final # tomorrow and to continuing the “offline” conversations everyday. #BellLetsTalk
@imdebating THIS!! YES!!!!!! #BellLetsTalk@MikeSchreiner also need more help for children under age 13. I’ve been told numerous times by programs that they don’t take kids under 13. The sooner we can get them help the better they’ll be in the long run.
Yesterday we learned that 28,000 children are on a waitlist for mental health services, some waiting up to 2 years.
On #BellLetsTalk Day I am asking the province to back up words with action and invest more in mental health so nobody is forced to struggle on their own. #onpoli
I learned this week that schools in the Durham Region offer a “safe plan” to kids are at risk for self-harm. A fantastic resource and another way to help remove stigma for the next generation. If you know of someone who could benefit from this contact your school #BellLetsTalk
@AdrianLawford Adrian you are so strong by simply knowing you needed help and taking the steps required to get it. Far from being embarrassed I hope you are able to feel proud of this self-care and the example you’re setting for others in sharing your story.
The most powerful sentence that can genuinely change everything: “I need help”. If you ever have the honour to hear this from someone please take the time to really listen. Even if you’re not sure what to do next it’s the best first step. #BellLetsTalk
Remember that sometimes simply asking how someone’s day is going and then taking the time to really listen to the answer just may save someone’s life. #BellLetsTalk
What a difference a decade has made in starting some of the most important conversations people have in their lives. Grateful for #BellLetsTalk for helping to remove the stigma and shed light in the dark. Keep the conversation going!!
Don’t forget to set your alarms extra early - tomorrow is Bell Let’s Talk Day! The more you join the conversation, the more you’ll help drive Bell donations for mental health initiatives across Canada! https://t.co/PS5PqjOyWj #BellLetsTalk
@imdebating@opg@opg any update on this? We’ve been checking your site but can’t find anything for 2019 yet. We’re looking forward to another fun year with - thanks so much!!
Sometimes the hardest words to say are “I need help”. It can be absolutely gut wrenching to get them out there. But it’s in that incredibly brave and simple sentence that change can begin to happen. #BellLetsTalk
It’s #BellLetsTalk day. A day when the simplest actions can make a big impact on our ability to help people who need it. Text/talk/tweet to help raise funds in support of mental health.
.@LenovoCanada my husband has been hung up on 2x by your CSAs this morning trying to find our product. Finally found someone honest who told us it hasn’t even been built yet. No one willing to step up and resolve for Christmas.
@LenovoCanada just found out the elves working for you are about to crush my child’s Christmas dreams by not delivering Santa’s gift on time despite spending the past week providing us false promises of delivery #Grinch
