Text highlighters usually store highlighted content based on the order in which highlights were done.
I hate that.
In such case when you return to the document and add a new highlight that you previously skipped, it will be added to the end. And then you have a mess in your notes.
That's why in @TheClipioExt, highlights are stored in Notion according to their position on the document, no matter when you highlighted them.
While thinking about @TheClipioExt and how to push it forward an idea I have is to add an API integration that would allow you to:
• Change/enrich the data before saving it to Notion
• Send the data somewhere else (eg. integration with Zapier)
I'm also considering a generic preset not connected to Notion, so the Clipio would allow you to save and highlight any content on the internet and it would be up to you to decide what to do with it.
Few examples:
• Save mail with article
• Post highlight to Twitter
• Store content in DB/Google Docs
I think this could be more interesting for some people than just simple Notion integration (which stays of course).
Just thinking out loud there and would love to know your opinion 🙏

After a lot of hard work, the moment is finally here. The first release of @TheClipioExt
I have just sent the mail to my subscribers with instructions on how to get it.
Are you using @NotionHQ daily? Then request an invite at https://t.co/R6YqphRURA
Saving content from the Web to Second Brain in Notion is a pain.
Available tools are either slow, unreliable, or not flexible enough so I have to switch the context and break my flow.
That's why I have decided to build https://t.co/LtPonDvj2K — to make this as easy as possible.
Result of Saturday's long night:
• Finished "Save the page" in the new UI
• A lot of prep work to enable preset creation
• A few UI tweaks

Looking for @Notion enthusiasts.
I'm curious how you combine Notion and web clipping. And I would love to chat with you. Any good souls in my network? DM me, if you would like to help me build @TheClipioExt.
Thanks a lot.
I've put a few example questions in the next tweet. 👇
What a great way to end a week than finally launching a landing page for the @TheClipioExt 🎉

Your ideas and thoughts? Any feedback is welcome 🙏

Any tips on how to deal with Privacy policy and other legal stuff for side projects? Did you hire a lawyer? Is there some template? What has to be included on the page?
Will need this for @TheClipioExt soon (at least basic stuff for emails).
Thanks a lot 🙏

@ericvalxik@pustelto@Versoly, I have been evaluating a few solutions (including @Webflow) but Versoly has an out-of-the-box integration with @ConvertKit and looks like a better fit for my needs (and pricing looks reasonable as well).
@TheClipioExt This is a result of roughly 2h of work on the landing page.
Still a lot of work to do. Eg. the icons on the feature section and the header should stand out more.
But I'm pretty happy with the progress so far. I'm pretty sure I would be nowhere close to building it from scratch
I have just given a @TheClipioExt profile a proper update.
Now the landing page. Have a basic copy already prepared thanks to ChatGPT. And even though I'm an FE dev I consider using Webflow (or a similar tool) to speed up the process.
Any suggestions?
