Ever noticed some letters written in tiny font when reading your Qur'an?
They are signs that tell you when you need to stop, pause, supplicate or continue reciting.

@dmightyangel Whenever you hear a new terminology, dont just assume its meaning. Some things mean different things depending on the context. A little googling always helps.
24th January 2022. A day I can never forget.
I went to eat at Buka Hut at gbagada, just to treat myself and have a good day.
Halfway through, my PERIOD came unexpectedly… and I had no pad, no backup, nothing.
I didn’t even know.
After eating, I decided to get ice Cream, because why not spoil myself a little more?
As I stood up, I noticed people staring… but I didn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I got to the ice cream stand that a guy walked up to me quietly and said: “Excuse me… your backside is stained. Please, take my jacket to cover up.”
In that moment, I wanted the ground to open and swallow me. But his kindness… it calmed me.
No noise. No embarrassment. Just respect.
He gave me his jacket, wrapped it around me, and even offered to order me an Uber home.
I insisted on paying, but honestly, I was just grateful someone chose kindness over ridicule.
I asked how I’d return his jacket. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” But I took his number anyway…🥰
Today, that same man is my DARLING HUSBAND.😍
And funny enough, Buka Hut is still our favourite spot till today. ❤️
Sometimes, love doesn’t start with butterflies.🦋
Sometimes, it starts with kindness in your most vulnerable moment.✌🏼💖
Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command.
It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards.
Automated snapshots were gone too.
In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again.
If you use Terraform (or let agents touch infra), this is a good story for you to read.

@fidexcode Real devs ship code that works, not flex cli elitism.
VsCode git gui saves time for actual problem solving.
If you have been building scalable systems for decades, you will understand that tools evolve, whereas gatekeepers don't.
We chose Postgres over DynamoDB for our new product. Everyone called us crazy.
The context:
- Building a SaaS analytics platform
- Expected complex queries and joins
- Team of 4 engineers, all SQL experts
- Zero NoSQL experience
Why Postgres won:
- JSONB handled our flexible schema needs
- Native time-series support with TimescaleDB
- Didn't need to denormalize everything
- Could hire junior engineers who knew SQL
- Local development was trivial
18 months later:
- Handling 2M queries per day
- $800/month vs projected $4K on DynamoDB
- Never regretted it
Choose boring technology that your team understands.
If you ever write a tweet and end it then put beneath that tweet some unrelated trending words like “vdm” “bbnaija” “buhari” “ugarte” “iyabo ojo”, I just know straightaway that you are a daft moron who is hoping to use unrelated trending words to give your tweet higher attention,
Let's create a long thread of Lā ilāha illā Allah.
Don't do copy and paste. Type it out. Your fingers will bear witness for you. Say it as you type it out, your tongue will bear witness for you.
Lā ilāha illā Allah
I once left food on the gas cooker and went out, I've been out of the house for well over 2 hours before I remembered, it was like a hole opened up in my heart, i thought I'd burnt down the house, rushed back home to find the house full of smoke, luckily I put the cooker on low heat, so just the pot and its contents were charred.
This made me come up with a checklist for whenever i'm leaving the house, a system to help me avoid costly mistakes in the future.
1. Check Taps
2. Check the gas cooker.( Sometimes, I just put it off from the cylinder
3. Put off all electric sockets( if I'm gonna be away for more than a few days, I'll remove the fuse completely)
4. Close the Windows in case it rains
5. Confirm the doors are locked and I have my keys.
I’ve been using AI a lot lately because I have been doing a lot of writing and analysis. AI tools are really great productivity enhancers but inorder to use AI tools correctly, you need to take your brain along 100%.
@deekay_umar@Habbyforex_ How could you make the wholesome of $111k and decided to invest everything on something entirely different from what fetched you the $111k in the first place?
I’m sorry if this is insensitive but you’re also greedy and what you were looking for, you get in the end.
