That’s not a case for reactionary revanchism, Guyana is an independent country and should not be punished for the acts of its former colonial master, just as Venezuela shouldn’t be punished for Spanish crimes. In no universe am I going to support Venezuela trying to walk off with 2/3rds of Guyana’s land based on colonial era beef, and reduce this country to a tiny sliver. That’s simply wrong. If the Venezuelan people have the right to self determination and sovereignty, so does Guyana.
