There is an LCMS church plant in Barcelona that we wanted to check out. Despite landing in the airport pretty early, I knew there was no way we would have been able to get to that service unfortunately. I was right -- took 2+ hours just to get through immigration 🤦🏾‍♀️

When we are on the road, it is a priority for us to go to church services. In Barcelona we found a German language Lutheran service. Very kind people! Lovely historic building as well. Worshiping in a language you don't speak is an experience, for sure 🙂

I’ve never met someone who’s genuinely happy with their life, comfortable with themselves, and at peace with their surroundings go out of their way to be rude. more often than not, that kind of behaviour comes from people who are deeply unhappy and project their pain onto others. once you realise that, it becomes much easier not to take it personally.
