Real utility in crypto comes from protocols that solve actual problems for users and builders, not just token mechanics.
In the LabNinety1 ecosystem, that means layers focused on liquidity depth, strategic participation, trustless trading, and real-world applications. And it’s all built on $FLD.
This was shared with me by @TheCryptoKid4 .
It should surprise no one that @LabNinety1 has plans for this very problem.
If it does surprise you, you likely haven't been paying attention.
We build things that solve problems.
I submit decaying assets are a real problem.
Long post, get a beverage!

So I've said a number of times recently that retail will not save us. Firstly because we ARE retail, and secondly because no new money is entering crypto for a while yet.
We need to be in projects that either:
Are going to seriously change AI or robotics, OR:
Are going to bring in money from outside crypto such that the people paying don't even know.
(and yes, there's tokenisation of all kinds of assets coming. But I'm not at all confident of when or how.)
So my current PF is organised with the above in mind. I'm gonna explain why I'm holding what I'm holding. In short, poor old Ian exposes his ignorance. ($5 to the first person to recognise that quote! :-))
In no particular order, I have:
$tao I don't know enough to know if it will take over AI. I'm aware that subnets need to start making proper money from customers. But hey, the narrative is strong and my cost basis is about $9 so I'm willing to wait and see.
$tht @Thought_THT Doxxed university professors with an AGI engine that works on a laptop. Believe me or not. Up to you. Price is currently low because the team are working instead of communicating.
$fld and $fate. @LabNinety1 Not only partnered with $tht, above, to produce two new protocols, but also working with real life companies to disrupt ticketing and real estate. And much more.
$myst @MyStandardDotIO Working to change the job market and helping workers to own their own data. Real world partnerships, serious team.
$reppo @reppo Slightly above my pay grade to explain, but shipping constantly, Kraken listing, 20m invested, great tokenomics, dyor.
$tig @tigfoundation Improving algorithms. Trillion dollar market. Maths genius, licensing expert, poised for world domination.
$serv @openservai Making AI 80% cheaper when that's desperately needed. On the brink of serious adoption.
$nock @nockchain Haven't researched properly, but getting pushed heavily, could be something, watch this space.
$codec @codecopenflow Browser-based simulations for training robots much more easily. Hackathon winners.
$arcn @ArcanaSDK An exception to my general rules, but very useful. Scaffolding for building everything useful in web3. Formerly Emp, Simmi and Talos, now united in one token.
3 minor positions, partly for fun:
$boson @BosonProtocol Could be the missing link that allows agentic commerce to go mainstream. We'll see.
$aped, @OfficialAped The one on Sol. My esteemed colleague @basjee01 says he's gonna push it to 10m or die trying. You have been warned.
$trove. @BaseTrove Up only mechanism via untouchable vault and solar mining. 15k MC, over half of any investment at this level is already guaranteed safe.
So there you have it. If you own any of these, check out the others, why don't you. All errors and omissions my fault. Interactions much appreciated. Not financial advice.
(And no, @ScreenTimeSucks , I haven't forgotten you, just waiting till you can get back to full functioning.)
Excited to welcome @levelnfts91 to X — our chess-themed gamification protocol designed to deepen $FLD liquidity in a strategic and fun way.
Check out their first thread below.
Retail ain't coming to save you by buying your bags. You need coins that are either:
Working to bring in normie money without them knowing, or...
Working to facilitate better AI or robotics.
This project:
Doing the first and partnered with the second.
In since day 1.

Three years ago, LabNinety1 launched with an ownerless foundation and a simple idea: build something that rewards coordination over extraction.
No team tokens.
No unlocks.
100% community-owned liquidity from day one.
We’re still here, still building, and now scaling with real-world partners.
Thank you to our dedicated community of builders, participants, and holders.
$FLD provides the foundation. You provide the energy that keeps the flywheel turning.
Three years ago.
Zero circulating supply at launch. No team tokens. No liquidity. 100% community driven.
We're still here.
Still grinding.
Still building.
$FLD and @LabNinety1 will still be here in another three years.

Coordination beats extraction.
At LabNinety1, independent layers are designed to reinforce one shared core rather than compete with it.
$FLD remains ownerless.
Liquidity stays community-owned.
Incentives stay aligned for the long term.
This is how sustainable systems are built.
If you missed @Blake4Liberty’s space yesterday, you can listen here.
Blake brought @Havoc_8_8 on to talk about $FLD, $FATE, and multiple real world partners of LabNinety1, like @TangerineRWA and https://t.co/AxPqkhqI4Q.
Check it out and feel free to ask questions in the TG!
The real power of LabNinety1 isn’t any single layer.
It’s that independent verticals, each operating with their own goals on their own timeline, all strengthen the same immutable core. $FLD
We choose coordination by design rather than extraction by default.
We didn’t build FLD to go viral.
We built it to endure. To be useful. To belong to no one and therefore to everyone.
Memes are temporary. $FLD is forever.
$FLD’s design has never been about riding short-term waves.
Fibonacci emissions, community-owned liquidity, and an immutable flywheel reward those focused on patient coordination rather than the short-term hype and extraction that dominate much of crypto.
The origin story isn’t just history — it’s the operating system.
In a market that still rewards short-term extraction, $FLD was built for the opposite: coordination that compounds over decades.
