Missy Hickey

Missy Hickey, one of the district facilities manager (I oversee the Northtown and Tonka feeders) in NKCSD. I clean 🧽, shout out custodians and make jokes 😎

Here’s some throwbacks of me being weird at work! So you can have a feel on who I am in person!

1 - me at my current job (2025)
2 - me as the FM at @NGMSGators (2023)
3 - me as the site-manager of @bp_mustangs adv. club (2020)
4 - me as assistant supervisor at WoF (2013)

Winter...is...coming...they're saying more snow than ice...like they did last year...pretty sure all we go last year was ice and heavy snow! Will I break my 8 days in a row record, this year? Stick around and find out.

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

I think I’m over snow? What about you? @NKCSchools #snowremoval #custodian

Just your monthly Missy the custodian check in!

Happy Friday! Hers a fun little video…I haven’t had time to work on my summer video! However shoutout to @ToppingBulldogs for being so fun the first three weeks to work at!

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

I’m working on my “summer camp” video this weekend. But for the time being here’s what AI thinks I look like.

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Also the drum lines this year? Jaw. Dropped. Amazed. They “ate”. But you know I got a soft spot for my @NKCBandBoosters

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Had a great day at convo to get pumped for the new year! You set the vibe…so why not be the vibe!! @NKCSchools

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Been working on PD all day…so if you see me staring into space I’m just thinking about how I can make the video even better for EmpowerEd at @NKCSchools in February!

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

@CymBeason @NKCSchools As you walked away I thought “I better make a video now that I remember I have my twitter!”

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

I say it often “I get to have fun at work” and “I love that I get to laugh at work!” And it’s true. I love my work!

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

I know you’re thinking to yourself: what’s Missy doing at work this week?

The answer? Getting my head in the game! 🏀🪣🧽

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

My random pop back in and tweet. Here’s the 2025 addition!

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Happy summer everyone! Do you have tile in your room? Do you ever wonder how it got so shiny? Check out this how to video and see how we strip the tile floors!

I’ve been MIA, it’s the busy season for us custodians! Enjoys this video from spring break, to give you a hint of what we’ll be doing this summer! While you’re relaxing we’re working even harder! Hang in there summer is coming!

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Idk about you, but Henry the Hornet had a blast Friday at PROM! Check out those moves!

[Rochel Daniels @RochelDaniels]

Due to multiple power outages across the district, slick, slushy and refreezing road conditions, complicated by downed trees, limbs, and snow drifts, @NKCSchools will have yet another snow day. I was so hoping things would be different this morning.😔 Stay safe, everyone.

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

Custodian first, district manager second! Multitasking is the name of the game. Those owls needed me more than my computer did.👩‍🔧👩‍💻🦉@Oakwood_Manor

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

This call has to be tough to make!

[Rochel Daniels @RochelDaniels]

Amidst the frustration this season has brought, the safety of our students remains the guidepost for all decision-making. Kids need to be in schools, but record-breaking temps make that dangerous = frostbite after only 10 minutes of exposure. I’m sad to say Feb 20 is a snow day.

[Missy Hickey @TheCustMissy]

What a lovely Friday to have PD on! Happy PD day from custodial south feeders!
