@NathieVR Market inflated by meta collapsing; give it 5 and no giant corpo interruption/monopoly attempt again and we'll have an actual, natural, healthy vr market.
@bozoid Meta was the one to fuck the market to begin with so i'm not sure why you're surprised. Insanely subsidized hmd, government lobbying against pico, and hostile competition guaranteed meta hmds were the only ones to have any relevancy cus how tf do you compete with meta.
@_Fluffbutt@MericBaglayan@CactusVRStudios@GAMERTAGVR Dawg the default comfort of the quest 3 is actually objectively bad from a physics standpoint, it has no counterweight and bad default support from that shitty fabric strap so it applies a craning force on your neck.
@Puravik221106@MichaelGirdon@vertigogames Ah, you bought the meta kool-aid. Modern VR is trending towards an additional peripheral/device like either a console or monitor, not whatever the fuck meta wanted to monopolize it to be. Now that they've fucked off with their subsidized hmd, the market can actually form now.
@benz145 Let's see the obvious right now-
PCs right now are expensive as fuck due to the AI wave, every VR HMD is either on a dying ecosystem or sucks for playing it thanks to meta, and to top it off everything else is expensive rn too. Lucky I upgraded my PC when I did.
@GAMERTAGVR As I reiterate, meta is entirely responsible for the lull in this era of vr. Releasing a heavily subsidized like ~800 dollar hmd for 500 and then buying up developers for exclusives choked both the software and hardware markets to death.
@benz145 Maybe work on not killing the development studios that aren't directly under you first before absolutely destroying the market. Meta did this to themselves, and there is no way to fix it without sitting down, shutting up, and letting the market stablize itself again.
@Apogee_Ent 1st, none, I wish we got more new games that were actually worth a damn.
2nd, titanfall 2. Came out at a time where it had *zero* fucking chance of competing and got absolutely destroyed for it.
@saou0345@_mAKE_mE_mAD_ They did, it's called american cartoons. Aside from a couple that are genuinely good, the rest are best described as having a small group of loud and annoying fans, with most of the larger defending crowd not even interacting with the media outside of internet arguments.
