@Blizzard_ANZ My first warcraft game was Warcraft 3, my first foray into video game fantasy, my first green orcs and spellslinging mages. My jaw still drops thinking remembering this as the first story I played that the bad guys win at the end

the idiotic irony here is that reddit, as a company, produces very little of value
what content is original to reddit at all comes from its users. users who have absolutely no ability to share in any revenue that reddit earns

it’s so funny Lucasfilm found an almost exact double for 30-something Mark Hamill that could have played Luke for another 40 years but instead they had to stick 70 year old Mark Hamill’s de-aged deepfake face on him and replace his dialog with a Ukranian AI
@BREADSWORD@JennyENicholson Poliwhirl is the best bud of the Pokemon Adventures manga protagonist! Someone on the pokemon team really likes him and pushed him hard
Lucas watched the Western, which he thought as a kind of American Myth, dissolve in the popular consciousness. He thought America needed its own myths and so he tried to conjure one up. It remains to be seen if he succeeded, but I think Andor sort of shows how maybe he did. 🧵
