@FakeMoods There is a glimmer of hope for Ontario given the decision by the Ontario Court of Appeal that the Criminal Code permits pooled liquidity. There are still some hang-ups, and the decision is being appealed to the Supreme Court, but there is a small chance DFS could return.
@dilanesper If Mexican cartels were launching missiles from across the border into Texas, and the Mexican government refused to act, of course the U.S. could morally and legally build a buffer zone on the Mexican side of the border.
@dilanesper Can you explain your view as to why it is illegal? Israel was attacked by an armed force operating in Lebanon's territory, one that Lebanon permits to operate. Israel seems to clearly have the requisite causus belli to invade. Why do you think they don't?
@mehdirhasan@KareemRifai Is it "tone deaf" or, instead, "reasonable" for Zelenskyy to support aggression against a nation that is directly helping kill his own people? We all know the actual answer. He can't afford to stand on abstract concepts like you when his people are actually suffering.
@mattyglesias@SethAMandel We provide a wide variety of military aid to a wide variety of allies. Israel is one of the few allies that actually provides military benefits (e.g. military tech and information) in return.
@selise@matthewstoller In theory antizionism may mean that. If actually realized it would merely mean the oppression and subjugation of the local Jewish population. The only moral position at present is the two state position, and Zionism is compatible with that. Antizionism is not.
@MarioNawfal But Lebanon didn’t disarm Hezbollah when Israel was neither bombing them nor taking territory. How do you square that fact with your statement? In what situation would you expect Lebanon to disarm them based on the last two decades of inaction?
@umichvoter@Mike_from_PA Come on. That's just unhinged. It's "possible" insofar as anything is theoretically possible, but giving it credence was an unforced error on your part.
@Alonso_GD How can you state that when Israel IS multicultural at this very moment? If by "Palestine" you mean the "river to the sea", then how is your preference for the region any different, just merely for a different religion/ethnicity?
@dilanesper Because the coverage is relentlessly negative in massively disproportionate and unfair ways. It's really not hard to parse this. Are things in the settlements bad? Yes. Do those turning against Israel care much about that? No. It almost all comes down to the spin and focus.
@mattyglesias Why go on his show at all when he obviously hates America? It has nothing to do with Israel; he's a liability because of his myriad of other views.
@NYRLouie Interesting analysis, but there is no world in which Dallas makes that trade unless Gabe is going back the other way. They're not accepting two players who won't score for JRob, including a D prospect who hasn't looked good during his NHL time this season.
@dilanesper You have so many good takes about so many things, but there's such a deep hole in your takes when it comes to Iran. There are many reasons why the US has a strong national interest in attacking Iran separate and apart from Israel, and preventing Iran from nukes is one of them
@KevinRothWx@PropFinderApp Perfect - I merely didn't realize it would be populated there like that. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for pointing it out!
@KevinRothWx@PropFinderApp Second, please consider adding them to your great looking new app, so that those of us who rely on them can directly support you for doing that work.
@KevinRothWx@PropFinderApp Love what you're doing. Two comments: First, many of us are solely interested in your forecaster notes. The RG layout had them all together so we could quickly review them (as well as any updates). Please consider either consolidating them on top or on the bottom.
