@WMnatzakanian It's called a ghost runner. If a second run is allowed and is charged to the pitcher, the run is considered earned.

@WMnatzakanian The pitcher didn't put the runner on base therefore does not own that runner. I think other runs are considered earned if the pitcher allos them in.
