Evening Reflections. We live in a city where there are no protests over the killings and shootings especially in the south and west sides of #Chicago.
No accountability for parents who allow their minor children to wander out and commit felonious crimes. No protests over the record breaking robberies and assaults that are plaguing the downtown and Northside areas that used to be safe.
We have the @Chicago_Police that are outmanned, out gunned and who have been stripped of even being the police by Mayor Failure and the Clown Show of a city council.
But let a restaurant or #Doms and #FoxTrot close, and people are losing their minds. Let a criminal who was trying to kill a police officer get killed by the same officers who were trying to defend themselves, and hot damn, let the protest, sit ins, marches and
National Media tour began.
Chicago police officer Luis M. Huesca tried to make a difference in a city that will probably forget about him because in some peoples minds, he was just another victim and statistic of the violence that is plaguing this once great city.
Because hey, the #Bears announcement about a domed stadium is more important than an Officer who tried to make a positive difference.
An Officer who was killed in full uniform. An Officer who was trying to go home after trying to stop the same violence that claimed his life.
