Someone said it in Spanish, but I'll say it in English so that as many people as possible know: Venezuelans currently don't have aid and are unprepared for this because the regime has stolen all the resources that guarantee the security and stability of the Venezuelan people
Football is in a dark place, 4 alleged sex offenders playing in the World Cup but apparently allegations ruin lives, teams and nations have to do better

Full love and solidarity to the woman taking this to trial.
It is always incredibly brave for any woman to face an incredibly traumatising system that doesn’t protect victims of sexual violence but to do so against a man with fame and power is even more daunting.
@Oom_Rugby Right there, I felt South African. I felt that something has clicked in that team. It felt like suddenly, they remembered they are South Africans after all. They imposed themselves fully.
They can play. I really hope we turn it on our next game.
While you are watching your stars and national teams in the #WorldCup
remember Palestinian player Suleiman Obeid, who was killed while trying to secure food for his children in Gaza.
Tom Holland says creativity is safe from AI because it 'doesn't have a soul'
"Creativity is safe from AI because creativity has to do with the human experience. It's about emotions, it's about understanding one another ... AI can sift through data ... but it doesn’t understand emotions. It doesn’t understand the difference between being happy and being sad ... the way artists paint, it's not about what they're copying, it's about expressing themselves ... [AI] doesn't have a soul"
The games have been great but this has really been such a terrible World Cup outside of those stadiums. FIFA was banking on the excitement over the games quieting the political conversation, but the mistreatment of so many teams and fans have been the defining story.
Despite spending time in Belgium and later France under quarantine and medical screening measures to ensure they had not contracted Ebola, not a single DR Congo supporter traveling from Kinshasa was granted a U.S. visa for the World Cup. Among them was Michel Nkuka Mboladinga, better known as “Lumumba,” an iconic Leopards supporter who became one of the most recognizable faces of AFCON 2025.
Since the start of this tournament, we have been witnessing clear bias against African countries embedded in visa and immigration systems.
To the Destiny 2 community,
Thank you.
As artists, our goal has always been to create worlds filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and adventure. But what brings those worlds to life is you. You take our designs, our napkin sketches, our "wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas and transform them into something real. Your creativity, your passion, and your love for the game give our work purpose.
We've always believed Destiny could be a place where expression is celebrated, where players can see themselves and each other in the worlds we build, where every Guardian can forge their own legend—and you proved it.
Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters.
You shaped it. You made it matter. You are the light of Destiny.
With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us.
From all of us on the Destiny 2 art team, thank you for supporting us, inspiring us, and continuing to bring this world to life in ways we could never have imagined. You give our art meaning.
With gratitude,
The Destiny 2 Art Team
