Hi y’all! I’m an environmental engineering student who has undiagnosed chronic pain. I am going to use this account to talk about my experiences and how my disability intersects with me being a student, an environmentalist, and a future STEM professional.

The past few days my palms have become mildly tingly after I’ve gripped something. My meds haven’t changed so idk if this is a new #Fibromyalgia symptom or if something else is going on. It’s not painful just uncomfy and weird. Anyone have experience with this?

I was going to go to the Renn Faire with my friends but I went to the botanical garden yesterday so I then overslept and woke up fibro sore and now I I’m listening to my body and resting. I hate that this condition keeps me from doing fun things with my friends.

Last month my Emgality was $50 last month but $240 this month. And I’m only able to start it this month cause my insurance wouldn’t approve the two pens at once needed for the loading dose. I’m confused and so annoyed with my insurance company ugh.

My rescue headache med brought me down to just above my baseline. It’s still better that I like. Stay in bed cause it does get worse when I get up. But I’m not suffering as much which is good. Thank the gods for Rizotriptan. And I’m so proud of myself for actually taking it.

Just took my new headache rescue meds for the first time. I was debating whether or not to take it so I just pushed back the debating and just took it. Rizotriptan. Let’s see if this helps.

can I fight insurance company. They gave me authorization for one dose a month of emgality, my new headache med. But to start the med I need two doses. So I have one pen but I can’t take it yet cause I need the starting dose. So I need to call prescriber and insurance on Monday😠

@dominickevans 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ I’m a non-binary lesbian and asexual. I’m diagnosed with fibromyalgia and am currently taking a leave of absence from my bachelor’s degree to get my physical health managed enough that I can be on campus again without risking my body.

@twitchyspoonie I have a decent connection with my Polish heritage since I’m half Polish. We still celebrate Wigilia and I have Polish friends. I need to connect more but yeah having that does help me.

For the solstice I did a prayer to Apollon and Helios while sitting on my porch roof under the sunset pink, and now I’m singing along to music that I believe Apollon enjoys. Feels wonderful. #pagan #polytheist #hellenist
