Nearly one year on and still no news of a 3G facility that grassroots sports can use in #Banbury and surrounding areas 🤷🏻‍♂️

Keeping track of my 2022/23 season with a thread for each game attended with picture and result…

[Wayne Goss @wayne_goss_]

Floodlit sports facilities in & around Banbury for football & other sports are truly appalling and an embarrassment compared to similar towns.
About time @Cherwellcouncil got together with the right bodies and authorities and put a proper plan together to improve the situation.

@Roundall @Cherwellcouncil @OxfordshireFA @EnglandFootball @FootballFoundtn Here’s where @Sports_ESFC , Middleton @CheneyFC , @BanburyUnitedFC @BUFCcommunity and others train. What chance have we all got to keep our kids active and enjoying football. 🤦‍♂️

The trip to @buryfcofficial on 21st September isn’t happening because stupid, greedy owners screwed a club and the fans with 134 year history plus @SkySportsNews having a countdown clock like its deadline day ✊🏻💦
@EFL you’re to blame as well!

@DanielDav2017 @JasonG84Gaffa @SkyCcfc @Coventry_City @TicketmasterUK @BCFC So this is condescending...I don’t think so. You blocked my other account because you’re wrong and I told you to shut up! Imagine the amount of people today I had to apologise to because I was in there allocated seat with my 12 year old son.

The Football Club is very disappointed to report that over night, two sets of goal nets have been slashed and ruined by vandals. If anyone has any information about this mindless act, please contact the FC or Northants Police.
