Man from the Mount -Mount Gambier
Fine conditions and a strong Sunday crowd set the scene for an entertaining 10 race card at Gawler, where several trainers celebrated multiple victories. At the same time, Susan Schadow achieved a memorable career milestone with her 1st winner as a trainer.

Best #2
Race 11 No 9 Blue Energy (1/2U currently $2.3/$1.5)
Come into this with a big show from the reserve with the rails run which should be ours as long as we beat the #1 out which we should. Going for 3 in a row and these meetings are were we do our best work.

Best - Race 4 No 2 Come Back Candy (0.5/1.5U currently $3.5/$1.75)
There's been a good old plonk on the #4 who's first up in SA, we should be a pace maker but need to clear the field within 100m as we don't like a ton of pressure.
Best #3
Race 11 No 6 Crystal Crown (2U currently $2.6)
First up for 4 months, a promising dog when it first sarted and looks to be a natutal beginner. Being first up and fresh that may actually aid in the start and 342m first up shouldn't be an issue from this kennel.

Best - Race 3 No 6 Molly Macallan (3U currently $1.8)
I got some real time for this dog but it's still a bit green in a field and at box-rise, we get the start so much as half right that should be curtains, promising future ahead.
Best #2 - Race 9 No 5 Proclivity (3U currently $1.95)
Small field suits as I can't see why we won't be going straight to the front and that should be game. The #1 intriges me being first up over 500m in SA, I still think we should be able to hold it out drama free.
Hope we are all enjoying the public holiday legends and enjoying yourselves in fine company. We start the week as we always do, with Angle Park this evening.
Good luck to all runners, connections and punters having a go this evening.

Best
Race 2 No 8 Mad Maverick (1/2U currently $4/$1.9)
Chance this fav will get immediate pressure from the #2, meanwhile we are the best dawn runner here and in flying form, we can pinch this and avoid all trouble.
Best #3
Race 10 No 2 Transformation (3U currently $1.9)
In this small field there is no reason why we can't cross the #1 early on and find the arm and be off, gon and home. Beating the #1 out is the key as it stays centre track, we cross it and that should be enough.

Value - Race 8 No 8 Long Gully Larry (0.5/1.5U currently $4.4/$1.95)
A natural beginner who will be looking to and needing to cross within the first 100m to hold these off, at this young stage in the career 400m is as much as he wants, know your fate early.
