If I got laid off tomorrow & had to replace my salary asap, here’s exactly what I’d do:
1. Go to Instagram and start a fresh account. Use a spare email. No one has to know.
In our village, there was a lot of witchcraft. On record, there was a mass killing of witches in 1998 in Bududa (Lutseshe). Older people who lived then say about 100 witches and sorcerers were slaughtered like animals in broad daylight.
But prior to that, the whole story starts with the most feared witch. I was also told that those witches had ranks and specialities in dark magic. The man lived alone on the hill, most people were affected by his witchcraft, so they migrated and left him alone.
He bewitched everything and anything until one day. He used to grow coffee. So he would sun dry it in the compound. This witch didnt have a pit latrine, so he always helped himself in the bushes nearby.
On a fateful day, the distant affected neighbors plotted a move on him as he went shitting around in the bush. After doing his number two in the coffee garden, the neighbors tiptoed and collected his dung and stealthily threw it in his sun drying coffee.
When the witch came out of his house to remove the coffee, he saw a lump of shit. “Walalalalala…!” He made an alarm. “You people call me a bad witch in this village. Now if I bewitch this one, will I be a bad witch?”, he announced.
He collected the bugos and went to his alchemy laboratory. He mixed his reagents with the shit, put them in a pot and started boiling it on his Bunsen Burner.
He boiled and boiled while making his dark incantations. But as the boiling got more heated, the witch got sweaty, weaker and weaker. Little did he know that he was bewitching himself, but to him, he was making progress on the person who had taken a shit in his coffee.
With time, he died boiling himself. He tasted his own poison to the grave. The neighborhood was restored and peace prevailed.
You reserve the right to a personal opinion about mob justice. But there is no amount of justification that flags off mob justice on an innocent person. Yes, most of us have been robbed and attacked by thieves. With emotions blurring our judgment, we can burst out against those who did us wrong. But what of those who are affected by the mob innocently?
Our judgement is like that of the witch who bewitched everyone out of jealousy, hate, inhumanity etc. And until you taste the portion of your own poison, you cannot understand the pain caused by your decision.
We have courts of law and the law of the land that can always bring criminals to book. The system may be shamble, but if it singles you out, you will know that it works some times. Those boda boda chaps are witches.
As a person, you possess no right over the life of another. Let us be human enough to appreciate the gift of life by guarding it regardless of what another has done to you. Sydney was killed in cold blood over false allegations. Who of you, supporters of mob justice, can replace him now?
Be mindful what you rally on. Don’t just moves with masses. Most times the ‘m’ is silent. As we grieve the loss, let us reflect on our inner beings. Today it is Sydney, tomorrow might be you or your loved one. Judge with wit, don’t just yap about things fwaa.
I truly pray that whoever was involved in Sydney’s death is brought to book. May Sydo get the justice that he deserves.

Pain of an unemployed person:
• You wake up late, but still feel tired
• Every day feels the same
• You apply for jobs daily, no replies
• Phone notifications give hope, then nothing
• Family keeps asking “Any update?”
• Friends slowly stop calling
• You start avoiding people
• Money feels tight all the time
• You feel guilty even while resting
• Confidence slowly goes down
• You start doubting yourself
• Skills are there, opportunity is not
• Motivation comes and goes
• Nights are full of overthinking
• You feel stuck and helpless
• You are trying, but no one sees it
Being unemployed is not laziness.
It’s mental pressure no one understands 😔.
There are TWO simple mathematical forces that when combined exponentially build wealth.
It’s why people make money significantly faster when they've hit $100k in net worth.
Here's what they are and how to maximize them:
Drink where the horse drinks. A horse will never drink bad water. Make your bed where the cat lies down. Eat fruit that has been touched by a worm. Feel free to pick mushrooms that gnats land on. Plant a tree where a mole digs the ground. Build a house where a snake basks. Dig a well where birds nest in the heat. Lie down and mate with chickens - you will have the golden grain of the day. Eat more greens - you will have strong legs and an enduring heart, like a beast. Swim more often, and you will feel at home on land as a fish does in water. Look at the sky more often than at your feet, and your thoughts will be clear and light. Be silent more than you speak, and silence will settle in your soul, and your spirit will be peaceful and calm.
