Reaves lands the richest contract for an undrafted player in NBA history.
@minakimes since you showed love for my #AAPI#aapiheritagemonth post last year I decided to do another post this year with @NFL@Topps Chrome cards that I've found so far...
This really was my GOAT at one point but he’s a super fraud unfortunately. That tap dancing he did on that stream was probably a PC version of what he doing behind the scenes. Move the Grizzlies to Nashville and then your reason being Vanderbilt (skip bayless college btw, his #1 hater LMAO), NASCAR (?), and Hockey (?) is so damn coded..
If you were truly a man of culture and really needed something to do in Memphis on your day off. There’s museums. Good southern cuisine. There’s even Ruth’s Chris & Local Spas. Now maybe they do need a Ritz Carlton & resort style spa for visiting athletes and celebrities. But that’s a different conversation than move the team!!!
Yes what Lebron said about Memphis IS that deep…Especially when the city is currently being violated by Ai data centers…Memphis is a hub for black culture and that is part of the reason the city is getting this treatment…wake up
not gonna quote tweet anyone specific, but i've seen a ton of people point out that lebron has gotten much more flack for his comments than other players like draymond and marcus smart who also spoke negatively on memphis recently.
1) people DID roast both of them,
but 2) what lebron says objectively carries more weight. he's the most famous basketball player in the world. it's fine if he doesn't like a hotel in memphis. but to go as far as saying a whole team should move out of a small market is going to upset people, especially those who love and care about the city and are tired of the disrespect. not sure why people are being dense about this
It is actually extremely disrespectful and painful to see so many people talk down on the city of Memphis and suggesting our ONE franchise move to Nashville, especially considering the racial/socioeconomic undertones and tension when discussing the two cities as is.
LeBron James on playing the Grizzlies:
“I’m f***ing 41 years of age. You think I want to do sh** in Memphis on a random Thursday? I’m not the first guy in the NBA to talk about this. You guys got to move the team… go over to Nashville already.”
