#Hunting will surely no solve all #conservations problems, but its #prohibition will probably cause more harm than good. https://t.co/53EoXeqBT7 - #TheElephantConspiracy - A story of courage and hope. https://t.co/FwC1HYdqD3
@tikobane A tragedy, totally unnecessary if international conservation strategies dealt with the real cause for poaching and didn’t exclude rural communities from its profits.
@AHuebschle Clearly not. Not all wild-caught food is illegal and not all transfers diseases. Many communities rely on legal, wild-caught food for protein.

@Nenagh9@ThomasLeaman1 Pointless again. Don’t know who I’m talking to. You tweetet about the “harmony” in Samburu, and I told you my personal observations, that’s it.
@Nenagh9@ThomasLeaman1 I don’t de-value anything, this was my personal observation in those days, and I want to know from you what has changed to the better since then. Easy, isn’t it?
@Nenagh9@ThomasLeaman1 Would love to hear what has changed in Samburu, my latest observation there a couple of years ago was 3000 cattle in the reserve, much to many elephants and a hammered vegetation.
