💢 Israeli Forces Shot and Killed a 9-Year-Old Girl in a Classroom Tent

Ritaj Rihan, a third-grade student, was shot and killed by Israeli forces inside an educational tent in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza pitched atop the ruins of a school destroyed during the genocide.

Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha, who attended the same school, reported that the tent where Ritaj was studying and where she was killed stood on the rubble of his former high school. “Even when kids try to learn, after over two years of nonstop running from the bombs, Israel shoots them,” he wrote.

⚡️Iran, Oman to charge ships for Hormuz transit under ceasefire plan

A proposed two-week ceasefire includes allowing Iran and Oman to charge fees on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a regional official told AP. Iran has said it seeks to use the funds for reconstruction.

An Iranian military analyst, reportedly close to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf (who has emerged as Tehran’s key interlocutor in negotiations with the U.S.), published what they claim will be the conditions for transit through Hormuz during the two-week ceasefire.

▫️ 10–15 ships per day allowed through the Strait of Hormuz
▫️ Passage subject to IRGC Navy approval and toll payments
▫️ U.S. commitment to release all of Iran’s frozen assets
