Here is what happens when you upscale an image to four times its original resolution (basically from 1080p to 4K) to generate a sharper final image and reduced aliasing. It's called Microsoft's DirectML which is in the Series S & X.

I had a friend who had been one for our entire adult lives. She successfully transitioned and we remained friends for a long time... When all the ultra-woke started getting deeper and deeper, me, her cis white hetero Christian friend who never saw her as anything but a friend was suddenly in a group she saw as devils, and she posted so often and vehemently, to the point that even decades of friendship left me realizing I was not welcome in her life being who I am. She posted one of those "if you're voting for Trump just unfriend me now" for about the 5th time, and I just did so. Her bashing Christians in general also hurt, a lot. I didn't cut her out, I just shut off facebook friendship, and never heard from her again.

It really hurt. I supported her as a friend pre-transition, during, and after. We were actually really good "could talk about anything friends." And then I became the enemy... And I never changed. I would literally have stood in front of her with a rifle to stop anyone trying to hurt her.

I still have no problem with people who live and love differently than me. My kid is gay. They're still my kid, my flesh and blood, who I would also die to protect. I would never stand for anyone "being loaded on a train" for their sexuality... And I would die for their right to exist if it came down to it.

Same sex relationships aren't for me. I know my religion is against them, but that's not really my issue. If it is a sin, I sin, and my sins are no less, nor are anyone else's more, because they don't align with my Kinsey scale. Frankly... Jesus told me to love my neighbor (and my enemies.) My neighbor being gay doesn't make them my enemy, they're still worthy of my love, of God's love, and of the free will left to each of us.

My only hard limits of tolerance align with those who push ideology and actions onto children. That isn't OK for anyone, gay, straight, male, female, neither or both. Period. I will die on that hill, as will most sensible people.

I really miss my friend.
