What’s interesting is people’s NEED to make their diet be physiologically superior.
Just saying, “I just prefer to eat this way” is no longer enough.
Be wary of the mental gymnastics of trying justify your dietary preferences.
You do you boo boo 😘
Unpopular Truth:
The dose is what makes something “good” or “bad” for you.
Ex. 🥦
Think we can all agree 🥦 is good for us!
But
Eat 3lbs of 🥦 and see how you feel.
Now tell me dose doesn’t matter.
Life is difficult.
Our Nutrition should make it easier.
Brighter.
More rewarding.
Yet too often, we choose diets that overcomplicate it for no reason.
Just because something is hard, doesn’t mean it’s working.
Just because something is easy, doesn’t mean it’s not working.
Want to know a game changer for your nutrition in 2020 & for the rest of your life?
Happiness.

We’ve all had a friend like “Becky”
“Becky, please don’t drink too much tonight!”
Becky: “I promise I won’t!”
Sure enough, Becky drank too much
Kissed 2 random guys
Peed herself
And can’t walk
Most Vegans feel like this about the rude/obnoxious vegans who give 🌱a bad name
Nutrition Rule:
Have something better to do than think about your next meal.
Just like having something better to do than waiting on a text back.
Your nutrition and relationships will thank you for it.

Overheard a lady at the Coffee Shop this morning asking her friend 👇🏻
“Why are you putting so much cream and butter in your coffee?” (Great question btw)
Her friend: “By eating more fat, you are burning more fat!”
Me: 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ and then I grabbed one of these 🍩
I have nothing against the Vegan Diet.
But what I do have a problem with is when someone who loves meat, eggs, dairy, fish, and they are told they have to cut out all of them to be healthy.
That’s wrong and mean AF.
They just needs to replace some 🍖🧀🥓🍳 with more 🥗🍓🥑🥦
Uber Driver: “I think fermented yeast is what’s making me gain weight. Yesterday, I went to this Jumbo Soft Pretzel Factory that just opened up.”
Me: “How many pretzels did you have?”
Him: “4. And ate my big lunch right after.”
Me: “Yep, it’s definitely the fermented yeast”
“Hey, I want to track macros
but I don’t want to have to
do it for the rest of my life.”
Me: “Think of this as a
3-6 month learning period
of tracking macros to gain
the nutritional awareness
necessary so you don’t
have to track macros for
the rest of your life.”
Today I watched my girlfriend eat an ice cream cone right in front of me.
And I didn’t get one for myself.
Not because I couldn’t have one.
But because I didn’t want one.
It was my choice.
Just because I can, doesn’t mean I have to.
Ate and Drank too much yesterday?
Long weekend ahead.
You have two choices:
Fall off the wagon the rest of the weekend.
Or get right back on track.
You can run 1 mile away or run 50 miles away.
But one thing is for sure.
You have to run back.
Next time you eat an Oreo, accept the challenge...
That this Oreo was created to make you want to eat all of them.
That doesn’t make them “bad” or “dirty”
Just beware of the game you are playing.
Talking about Nutrition is becoming a lot like talking about religion and politics.
It’s no longer about what is right or wrong. It’s more about what party do I align to.
“People like us do things like this”
Since tomorrow is the new year and officially resolutions time, if you hear this, run away as fast as possible.
“My ‘Insert Diet’ is the only way for you to reach your goals.”
There is no such thing as the perfect, best, and/or magical diet for everyone.
