@Asmongold Too close to Blizzcon, the risk would be too great. They are trying to placate part of the fire, by reducing the % of angry people, as many will accept the lower punishment.
Now they will stay silent and hope for a good Blizcon.

Great news to DM's of Pathfinder 2E. (And also to everyone making content and homebrews compatible with PF2E)

Today I had the honor to be part of the jury of a Game Jam at University of São Paulo (USP) - Semcomp (Week of computation event). Nice event, with three cool games for us to see.
And here I am with one of the guys from the staff. =D

@CAccursed More than once. Most time as DM thou. In my experience, it succeeds when everyone is invested in their characters, and tension is created by players seen things happening, but not knowing either what did it, how or why. Uncertainty, urgency, n feeling of strange danger work well.
@Asmongold I'd say it is to be expected, as a couple of clears is not enough to gear cap on Classic system. Also, many people are grateful for the ones on their raids that made the effort to get there and didn't get their gear yet. Old game design promoted more meaningful socialization.
The last one! A technical article discussing game design theory behind meaningful choice, targeted at board games, but useful discussion to any kind of game design.

@PrairiePhlox IMO, a game must have some sort of "test", a "mechanic", that can be learned or practiced, else it is not a "game" but a ludic activity.
But if a game has a good story, why not let people just see the story if they don't want to play that game?
I partially agree with you on.
