@hodgman The Star Wars prequels missed a huge opportunity to present the formation of the Empire as an anti-alien movement, accounting for the Empire's 99.9% human workforce. It would have more powerful message about hate and racism, and more relatable than the "trade dispute" subplot.

Around 11am today a shark appeared off Panama City Beach. Dozens watched it, and everyone could see it, then everyone went back into the water like nothing had happened. People are stupid.
