@binarythis Totally. I'm due any day now and telling myself it's fine if I end up with an emergency cesaerean, but there's a part of me that's absorbed this rhetoric about vaginal births and it's hard to untangle. Sometimes it's the culture and not the C itself that distresses birthing ppl.
@landlord_expose I wasn't sure where she was going with the first paragraph, kind of with her on the second (don't be a slumlord), and then I learned that all it takes to become a homeowner is a) be nice b) don't have a record c) pay bills on time. Sooo that's interesting. ๐
After 5 years of researching, writing, and revising, today is the day I begin submitting my manuscript to agents. Woohoo! Woohoo? Wish me luck. ๐ซฐ #amquerying#WritingCommunity
8 months pregnant and just realised I have been flying ~high~ on the magic rainbow of having no period, and that will end soon. Goddammit! It's been really nice, friends. It's been really nice.
@SimonJadis@AITA_online Beside the point but I would straight up love it if this was my division of labor with my husband. It's simple to follow, and I feel like food and food-related chores takes up at least 50% of the housework (including shopping etc. like she mentioned).
In hindsight, it's easy to say that millennials should have bought a home when prices were depressed after the 2008 financial crisis. But even then, they were saddled with debt https://t.co/F6dlzHVmf4
Seems I'm in alignment with Twitter consensus this time. #PiecesOfHer is pretty disappointing after a strong start. Toni Collette holds the whole thing on her shoulders. Also weird to keep seeing Sydney in what's meant to be South/East USA but I forgive them. We need the work!๐
@DaleChamberlain@avallach77@tedcruz OK I normally don't take the bait but that's ridic. A Private Little War - Vietnam commentary. A Taste of Armageddon - Cold War commentary. Tomorrow is Yesterday - a pilot plucked from the 1960's is like "You have ~women~ on your ship?" and they're like "Yes we do that now."
