@nicomusiani @Domestique___ Stupidity knows no limits unfortunately … for those people everyone’s a second rate rider apart from their own “idol” … so they have 1 rider per stupid person as a high performing athlete … all the rest for them are second rate 🤣

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@webooooooooooo0 @laflammerouge16 Not trying is also handing the race to someone else to the one who is in the escape right there … trying has a chance of something might happen in your favour even if it’s a small chance while not trying has no possibility whatsoever 🤷‍♂️

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

Wirtz’s problem is Szoboszlai … Dom is a great player and has one of the best technique when it comes to shooting or free kicks … but he slows the game down every time he gets the ball … his goals cover it up but a Wirtz type player need fast one/two touch attacks with runners creating space and if next to him his midfield partner slows down the quick plays then he is hindered …

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

Definitely not the case with our group and my experience is very far from this. I think sometimes, not always of course, it’s in the head of the new rider who thinks he/she won’t be accepted and then they don’t even try … we can easily fall for our own stereotypes sometimes. At least in my experience for the last 10 years I haven’t seen the snobbism people say is almost general

@organicmeasure @MichaelDP1702 @FonFonOO7 @kostasrak @Domestique___ I like this photo … much more relevant to TT performance than W/kg … especially on a flattish TT.

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@FonFonOO7 @GroteBergMan98 @ialcelay @Domestique___ He didn’t say body dimensions were irrelevant, did he? He said height isn’t that relevant, meaning isn’t overly important … but you were itching to get an insult in no matter what, well done

@Roadman_Podcast No music, no headphones … should be banned everywhere like in Spain

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@Roadman_Podcast On

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@ATLiverpool_ Aspas, Lambert, Cisse … I have no idea in what order but they definitely take the top 3 spots …

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

I'm fifty and I still catch myself thinking I should be further ahead. I should have a second property, more money saved, something solid enough that a bad year wouldn't matter but the trouble is that "further ahead" never says further than what. Or by when. Or who set the number in the first place.

A plan tells you what to build on Monday while a verdict just tells you you're behind and nothing you do ever settles it.

Buy the second property and it quietly moves the line. It took me a whole summer to work out they're not the same animal. That's most of what this issue is about.

@Roadman_Podcast If data causes negative impact then yes … when the numbers simply there for curiosity then it’s not a problem

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@Larrick023 @Erik_Hamre @laflammerouge16 Where were the organisers?

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@Erik_Hamre @laflammerouge16 My question is where were the organisers?

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@ProCyclingStats As terrible as it was, with this stunt the Vuelta gained more attention than almost any other race in the entire year so far … which tells us how badly the sport’s image is managed …

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@mcampostrini60 @Roadman_Podcast Agreed, it can be terrifying 🤣

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@Mr_Hammondjnr @Lumbararkadius @FabrizioRomano I imagine people at PSG have no idea what they’re doing … they’ve been struggling forever with their signings and clearly don’t know how to turn players to be successful … 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@BenjiNaesen Men’s Paris-Roubaix, TdF Women and Milan-San Remo in this order for me so far

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@JohnLutge @Roadman_Podcast That’s fine but that’s why it’s individual. There is no universal answer

[TheGradientEU @TheGradientEU]

@AmanTesfu1 @Domestique___ Clearly she is not at the levels of the others this year … she is more than aware of that and admitted it herself … denigrating her and belittling her is completely unnecessary, uncalled for and frankly quite low form … that was my point
