@MutantOffensive You can't do the 'it's further in the future' thing with 40k, people go onto the battlefield with chainsaws and the Imperial Guard have cavalry that do lance charges. The best human general had thousands of guys do bayonet charges on tanks lol
@CoolRunnerCraig Fundamentally TFS was a natural offboarding point for a pretty substantial number of players who had been in on that journey for 5 or 10 years. Meanwhile new player onboarding was daunting even when Red War was in the game.
@CoolRunnerCraig People who have stuck with the game long term are of course going to remember having put a lot of coin into the game (I don't want to confront my own final receipt lol) but in the end expansion sales only really cover the cost of the expansion. Were seasons breaking even?
@kambyyy The commonly accepted view is that Parsons padded the studio with incubator projects that, aside from Marathon, were unlikely to go anywhere. At the time of the acquisition Sony's statement included a line about the potential they saw for a multimedia approach, also
@marauder_matt It is I think a little funny to suggest that things were picking up in 2012 as a guy named Sheev, given that it was Tarkin, published in 2014, that popularised that name. Prequel memes would have been more or less impossible without it.
@turbomander They're obviously not mocapping the cube, but having him in frame would make blocking easier because other actors won't stand in places the cube will occupy in the final scene.
@king_of_games34 Someone pointed out the spaceship to you, but the way the world folds on top of itself suggests some kind of artificial habitat, sort of like a small Dyson sphere or an O'Neill cylinder.
@totallatinxlife@jesterc777@Noah_Sky1 I don't put a lot of stock into the 'Silver Chariot was deflecting lasers' because Sun's beams could be a host of things, but you can tell that Granite Blast isn't light because it's visible to Yuta before it reaches him
@voidsentflame Ruinous Effigy is incredible. Like yeah I transmuted that shit out of a tree branch I got on one of Jupiter's moons. It shoots an evil laser that turns guys into black holes that I can Chaos Dunk on other guys. It's also a philosophical argument. Most Destiny ass gun there is.
@neoizzyfishii The video was more about the accusation that Aladdin was a Thief and the Cobbler rip-off and whether that accusation is or isn't warranted
@AustinJtodd@LindonVoxCaster A Lightning is 9% faster than a Thunderbolt and has all the same electronics. It's a better dogfighter but it's not generationally better.
@darkwanderer64 By the end of the series he mastered an ability that made him completely intangible with a matter disrupting effect on anything that passed through him
@XWnHIST I actually still have my copies of Outlander and learning that the big bad of their future Star Wars project being A'Sharad Hett honestly cracked me up. Maybe the worst ever masked man reveal ever.
@suikazeryu@Bottomfr4gg3r@SilentRadioMist@YesterDraws He's at least 180cm, when Marin asks she cuts him off before he can finish so it might be more. He's about a head taller than Marin, and she's taller than the other girls in class (and a model). He is probably around 6'1
@Coco64095875 When the T'au captured Agrellan they were making efforts to uplift the humans living there. When the Imperium came back they melted the surface of the planet lol
@Git_Stompa One of the funniest things that demonstrates how deep it runs is how the 40k wiki's article about exterminatus slips from saying 'a world' to 'an Imperial world' because that's the most common target
