Are you a medical resident or recent graduate(last 5 years ) in Rwanda struggling to publish your dissertation or research?
Many strong projects never get published not due to poor quality, but barriers like limited mentorship, time, or guidance.

Future healthcare leaders belong in the community.
Today, members of @ursss_rwanda participated in the community meeting (Inteko y’abaturage) outreach activities under My Safe and Healthy Community (MySHeC), engaging communities on domestic injury prevention, first aid
Today’s talk was very insightful. We are fortunate to have strong support from multiple institutions, including the @RwandaHealth , academia such as the @Uni_Rwanda, and several research organizations and NGOs. We warmly encourage all level clinicians to attend the space.
We were honored to host Dr.@mnls_nke at the #ResidentResearchSpace, who stressed that research is key to #healthworkforcedevelopment and should include all clinicians and trainees, echoing Prof. Florence Masaisa’s call for research engagement across all training levels.
CME sessions like this are vital for strengthening clinicians’ capacity to detect chronic kidney disease early, ensure timely referrals for transplantation, and improve multidisciplinary care, helping save lives and expand access to kidney transplant services in #Rwanda.🩺🌍
As #WorldKidneyWeek begins, Dr. Gloria Shumbusho, Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Program Coordinator, led a CPD-accredited Grand Hospital Round CME session today at @kfaisalhospital, focusing on early CKD detection, timely transplant referral, and multidisciplinary care.
Proud to represent @RwandaNCDA at the launch of this critical initiative.
Investing in our workforce today means better health outcomes for Rwandans. Congratulations to @RBCRwanda@AfricaCDC and all partners on this launch! #SPARK-NCD
I extend my sincere appreciation to the Babcock University Association of Medical Students (BUAMS) in Nigeria 🇳🇬 for the kind invitation to speak at the BUAMS Research Boot Camp.
I had the privilege of delivering the 5th session on Scientific Writing and Referencing. It was a true honor to contribute alongside Professor Adeola Fowotade, who delivered the 4th session on Research Methods, Results & Basic Analysis, and Professor Charles J. Elikwu, who delivered the 6th session on Publishing, Peer Review & Research Visibility.
I was especially inspired by the outstanding attendance, thoughtful questions, and strong intellectual engagement from the medical students in #Nigeria.
Special thanks to Oluwabukola Ebitigha for the excellent moderation, and to Emmanuel Owolabi and the entire organizing team for their exceptional coordination and professionalism.
It was a pleasure to contribute to such a meaningful academic initiative.
I am currently attending IFMSA General Assembly, March Meeting 2026 in Denmark, from PreConference on 25-28th Feb at Aarhus and General Assembly in Copenhagen.
