@SailorPoof LMAO I’m pretty sure I was inside the building above him, opposite you and heard him screaming for a second before it faded out. It was faint and just long enough for his name to pop up and hear the “wait waaaait” and it was gone. Couldn’t figure out wtf was going on 🤣
@lucasmcintyre@daveweigel Found out that was a blind spot when I once called a friend "boy" trying to get his attention. He explained, I apologized, and he understood it was ignorance to the connotation rather than malice, but it still occasionally comes to mind and I'll feel like an ass years later.
Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
My kids just want to play Minecraft on the same world together over network on their respective Nintendo switches and you would think I needed like a computer science degree to make that happen
Devastating to hear the news about Wes Rucker
There are people around Tennessee Sports, beyond athletes and coaches, who become part of the story in ways that are hard to describe unless you follow it. Wes was a big character in this world and he is gone far too soon.
My deepest sympathies to his family and friends
There will never be another like Wes Rucker on the UT beat. He was someone I admired instantly as a college freshman covering the Vols for The Daily Beacon.
Hope the VFL community and teams on campus come together to honor and support his family.
I love people with ADHD because they never actually forget anything. You just have to say the right words to activate them like a sleeper cell and then they awaken with all of the knowledge on a very niche subject they studied for 3 months straight 6 years ago.
The 2nd amendment is not for hunting, it is not for self protection
It is there to ensure that free people can defend themselves if god forbid government became tyrannical and turned against its citizens
