@windowintlpod Great to see Bangladesh's preparations taking shape! ๐ง๐ฉโฝ We're following the SAFF Championship closely at The Imminent Win. Really looking forward to seeing how the tournament unfolds in November!
I'm not a United fan but what would getting rid of Carrick change? The change needs to be much higher up than the head coach. Its so toxic there at the minute #MUNBOU
โณ 11 DAYS TO GO! ๐
๐ฎ๐ณ The 11th SAFF Championship was held in 2015.
India beat Afghanistan ๐ฆ๐ซ 2โ1 after extra time in the final, with Sunil Chhetri scoring the winner.
Can India do it again in 2026?

๐ฒ๐ป๐ 12 DAYS TO SAFF 2026!
Last time Bangladesh hosted (2018), Maldives stunned India 2โ1 in the final to win their second title.
Eight years later, they're back chasing a third! ๐ฒ๐ป

@faizanlakhani Great news for Pakistan football fans! ๐ต๐ฐโฝ
With SAFF 2026 approaching, wider TV coverage can only help bring more attention to South Asian international football.
Looking forward to seeing Pakistan back in action! ๐
๐ 13 DAYS TO SAFF 2026!
๐ 13 unlucky for someโฆ
๐ง๐น Bhutan: Only team to concede 100+ goals.
๐ฎ๐ณ India: Only team to score 100+ goals.
๐ฒ๐ป Maldives: Just TWO goals away from joining India on 100!
Will the Maldives reach the milestone? ๐โฝ

@ThePapareSports That was some run chase. Harry Brook scoring over 200 and losing!! I did think England had it done with those 2 wickets in the last over but a great win by Sri Lanka
@BhathenaJoyan@IndSuperLeague Really interesting project, Joyan! Always great to see people building their own football data platforms. I'm working on something similar with international football, tracking all 217 men's national teams and their winless runs. Love seeing projects like this come together! โฝ๐
@Gaureshsm53 I do wonder what this would mean for the SAFF Championship. I'd love to see the smaller nations getting more opportunities to play, but surely building on an existing tournament makes more sense than starting another one?
๐ 14 DAYS TO SAFF 2026!
๐ง๐น Chencho Gyeltshen: youngest SAFF goalscorer, aged 15 years, 6 months, 27 days (2011).
๐ฎ๐ณ Sunil Chhetri: oldest, aged 38 years, 10 months, 24 days (2023).
Who will make history next? โฝ

@TheRoonBa@theaseanball That's a fair point ๐ Still, if it means a few more competitive matches for the smaller nations, I'm all for it. Hopefully we get some proper details soon.
@SAFFFooty I think it could be great for the smaller nations, especially Bhutan and Nepal. Just hope it works alongside the SAFF Championship rather than taking anything away from it.
@futtbaal_fan_pb That's what I'm wondering too. More international football is great, especially for the smaller nations, but I'd hate to see tournaments like the SAFF Cup lose their importance because of it.
@FootyIND I'd love to see it happen. Bhutan, Nepal and the other smaller nations deserve more chances to play. Just hope it doesn't end up replacing tournaments they already have.
@FootballPak Hopefully they get the organisation right if it goes ahead. The smaller nations could really benefit from more regular competitive football, but it needs to be run properly to make a difference.
@lbertozzi@SoccerFedMI Would love to see the Marshall Islands become FIFA's 212th member. Been following their progress and it's great seeing how much work is going into developing football there. Hopefully they get their chance!
