@garyblack00 Manipulative and misleading journalism. EV/Sales multiples? The VW deal only postpones the bankruptcy. Remember the significant investment from Ford and Amazon. $LCID would have been gone by now, if the famous investor didn’t insist losing more money. $TSLA , $RIVN
@historyinmemes Is it the best way of building houses? Time consuming? Expensive? not rigid enough? One senior meister maisutā wanted to satisfy his ego, and the rest never questioned?
@AutoNewsEurope I 🩶 Fiat 500e. Cost of manufacturing is still > MSRP?
The previous model was too expensive to build.
Stellantis paid around $2.4 billion to Tesla between 2019 - 2021 for CO2 emissions credits. Not sure which one is smarter…
@herbertong Very promising news, even ‘exploring' will help. Hyundai is doing a great job improving efficiencies and looking into new opportunities. The mindset in Automotive manufacturing is so behind the time. Not only in the traditional and fancy OEMs, but also in the EV industry.
@GitaGopinath My🩶 #Deutschland is, 20-30 yrs behind the time. The real root cause is simply the “lack of start-up mindset”. The ‘union' mentality in engineering in the last 50 yrs. True ‘dedicated' leaders lead, and teach; extinct! #MercedesBenz#startups#EV
@TheFigen_ Before the "Hurrian Hymn" music existed, but much of it was transmitted orally and not written down. The earliest musical instruments discovered in prehistoric times, including flutes made from bird bones and mammoth ivory found 40k yrs ago, found in the Swabian Jura region
@TheEVuniverse Tesla sells a ‘feeling’. The competition don’t get it. it’s not about the technology/design/value, it’s about brand marketing. Just like iPhone vs Samsung. Besides, there is no comp for technology/value anyway.
@TheFigen_ Misleading concept. Experience w/o knowledge is ‘the' problem. Has no place in the start-up world. If one could gain knowledge thru experience, it’s priceless. However, most so-called 'experienced' experts don’t have enough knowledge.
Many movies exist about a lone inventor in a garage having a eureka moment, but almost none about manufacturing, so it’s underappreciated by the public.
Compared to the insane pain of reaching high-volume, positive-margin production, prototypes are a piece of cake.
King Solomon's Paradox: We can provide clear, rational and great advice to others, but are unable to provide those same quality perspectives to ourselves. Simply because, when we're considering someone else's problems, we are objective, rational, and calm, but our own problems; we are emotional, irrational, and not objective.
1: Act, but don’t re-act:
Our immediate re-actions are always emotional in the heat of emotions. Force a pause (min, hrs, or days) before re-acting. Reset: You are in control of what comes next. Forgive:! and Act: with a more balanced perspective.
2: Don’t exaggerate:
We live zoomed in. Struggles are bigger than they really are. Progress feels smaller. Forced zooms provide objective perspective. Travel to the past, review objectively, come back to the present. Travel to the future, imagine, and come back. Back to life, back to reality.
