@myahsfilm it also adds so much to the movie that
1) he would’ve continued these horrors if it was up to him 2) her wish is the thing that eventually “kills” him while his wish led to the deaths of Ian and Sarah
@bryndensraven Theatres need to beat the comfort of home and better sound and quality is that hope. So higher, better formats is somewhat their main hope at continuing to be relevant. I do agree that IMAX 70mm should be far more available but it’s a developing technology tbf
@FrankCastleMilk@RecruitBoss@sw_holocron ummm what? “related to a Jedi” when Jedi literally don’t have kids. Anakin is the exception and it’s like the entire plot of the story that he wasn’t supposed to have kids.
Mamdani: "Of the Margret Thatcher quote, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. If anything my friends, it seems you eventually need a socialist to clean up the mess."
@RecruitBoss@sw_holocron I think you’d enjoy media a lot more if you cared less about genetic lines. Good has won because the people who want to do good have won and continue to do good.
Don’t want to spoil anything, but the moment when this model appears on-screen in The Mandalorian & Grogu is legitimately one of the funniest things that I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars movie.
@_TheOtherSide7@herosnvrdie69 that’s so easy to say when you refuse to acknowledge how expensive childcare is. the average childcare cost in the US is $1,372 per month. It makes more financial sense for many people to have one person not work and save money than work and then pay a nanny/daycare/center.
@supersillythang@herosnvrdie69 To add to that, i am very empathetic to people who are struggling financially for all the reasons you mentioned. It’s why i’m against putting work requirements because it more likely to push out people who are working/trying to/other obligation than actually help prevent fraud.
@supersillythang@herosnvrdie69 I might misunderstand you but i think we agree on this. Most SNAP benefits go toward children or elderly folks, like in the tables you sent. The table I sent shows that when you take those people out, the vast majority work, are trying to work, or have some other obligation.
