@Star_Knight12 we have invented many things since we invented AI, it might the invention that stops us inventing other things though. try to think originally and logically before posting.
@YouTube Ai will never be good enough to decide if content is AI or not all the time unless its good enough to also make content that is indistinguishable by humans.
No Fog is not Alive - less than 1% of it contains microbes, is anyone surprised microbes live in water vapor? i would thought it would've been more alive tbh.
@getjonwithit great, give us a metric for any of those things please. otherwise, like the soul, it's word salad that justifies our uniqueness. p-zombies.
it's a bit odd that people regularly have "deep" conversations with things that are not human now. We lived through arguably the greatest paradigm shift in human history and most of us just continue the daily grind without a second thought.
Sam Altman describes how it all ends:
"If you have the AIs and the humans both trying to enslave the other, and they both want the same thing, dominant species in the universe, that's bad. That's a recipe for conflict every time."
"My current thought is that some version of a merge is the most likely good long-term future. This can go anywhere from plugging electrodes into our brain and literally merging, or just every person has a little chatbot that becomes an extension of their will. We're going to need something like that, so that we're one thing and it's not us versus the AI."
