The Roulette movie this week was The Lair(2022). @freddynotlp really liked this! Reminded him of schlocky creature features but this was elevated. The performances were over the top but fun. He liked the action and the frenetic camera work. Well done creature effects too. A 👍

Just watched Neil Marshall’s “The Lair.” Doesn’t seem to getting good reviews, but dammit, it’s the movie I’ve been wishing for. Not perfect, but it’s a crazy fun monster movie, the type that no one seems to be making these days, and I enjoyed ever minute of it.
