This is why we are fighting to keep Stargate rooted in SG1, SGA, and SGU. We don't want to see this great franchise be destroyed by studio neglect or indifference.

Star Wars was once great, full of hope, epic drama, and amazing story. But they (Disney) broke the lore. Went in a completely different direction and destroyed beloved characters.

Star Trek is even older. Once daring and bold to go into unknown space and themes. Now it has completely went off into an "alternate" way which alienated long time fans. Becoming more political and insulting to fans of the original shows.

Stargate is different. The whole start of the show is literally with "enemies at the gate" and how humanity must quickly respond to it. But not just enemies were at the gates. Friends, allies, resources, technology, opportunities, knowledge, experiences unlike anything that can be found anywhere else.

Before the fancy ships, we had a small teams to fight throughout the stars. Before the great city, we had many intelligent people solving riddles and navigational charts. And before Destiny disappeared into the stars, we had a crew unprepared but willing to working together to survive.

Like a broken record, or a looping noise in the cosmos, or like birds who sing the same tones everyday, we the fans and families of Stargate say the same message until it is understood and addressed: #SaveStargate

No reboots, no remakes, no deviations that break Stargate history. Keep Stargate like family, don't break it.
