Under the First Amendment, possessing literature cannot be criminal.
If prosecutors are correct that Daniel Sanchez moved zines because he feared they’d try to use them against his wife, that’s a commentary on their lawlessness, not his.

If you have ever attended a protest, or been present in a groupchat with any random person who has committed any crime, you could spend the rest of your life in a cell.
This is a terrible injustice and a threat to every single person who dares to oppose the American regime.
Considering the two vets didn't really play following trades to Washington, the Wizards have basically added 10-time AS Anthony Davis, 4-time AS Trae Young and No. 1 pick A.J. Dybantsa.
Who knows where this goes but that's an insane trio joining six recent 1st round picks, all of whom look legit.
New day in Chinatown.
“Judge O’Connor stated from the bench that he is giving maximum sentences to the Prairieland sentences because “the state wants to send a message to anyone who shares a similar ideology.”
horrifying weaponization of the criminal legal system – nobody died, all guns owned legally & only 1 of the 9 defendants fired a weapon, 3 weren't involved in planning & left when guards told them to. One didn't even attend, got 30 years for moving zines.

These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that's the point. Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force. NSPM-7 is a grave threat to all of us and more bullshit "terrorism" charges like these are coming. https://t.co/LBREZVVY6D
The sentences handed down today are a huge threat to the possibility of a democratic society. The prosecution is rife with constitutional violations, but 30 years in prison (more than anyone for January 6) for moving some magazines? 50 years in prison even for those not involved in planning the protest? The evidence of an illegal conspiracy is non-existent, but this is how the authoritarian dragnet targets those fighting against repression. Everyone should be learning about this case. https://t.co/XLki7OBuID
Des has been sentenced to 30 years because he & his wife Mari stood up against the concentration camp in their city. He wasn't even at the protest. She got 70 years.
If you think you can stay safe from this by staying home, please take some time to study the history of fascism.
Sentences are starting to come out:
Zachary Evetts - 50 years
Maricela Rueda - 70 years
Savanna Batten - 50 years
Autumn Hill - 50 years

As a Bucks season ticket holder since Kareem Abdul Jabbar was known as Lew Alcindor, I know a thing or two about Bucks basketball… 💯
That’s why I believe we should trade picks 10 and 13 for Bilal Coulibaly.
Coulibaly has long been considered “the next Giannis”. Coulibaly has always been a nightmare matchup for Giannis, making him look more like Thanasis. Imagine building around that. A top tier defender with a freakish wingspan, an elite athlete only rivaled by Amen Thompson, and an underrated 3 point shooter (check his wide open shooting percentages)
As we embark on the next era of Bucks basketball, I would rather build around a Giannis regen with a better jumpshot (Bilal Coulibaly) than “Nate Ament” and “Yaxel Lendeborg”
