PS5 now runs SteamOS... a community project called Bazzite boots a jailbroken PlayStation 5 straight into Steam's Gaming Mode, the same interface as the Steam Deck, with a full KDE desktop.
It runs from a USB drive (32 GB or more), started by rmux's PS5 Linux loader. The console itself isn't modified, so restarting it brings back a normal PS5. Steam games run through Proton, with support for 4K60 over HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the DualSense. It needs a PS5 on a firmware the loader supports (tested on 13.60), and the PS5 Pro got first support in v1.8.4.
gemini argon, in the middle of the message, will make a human researcher level ‘jump’ that other models miss and that routinely genuinely impress me. i think google figured something out the other labs lack. unironically, fully, this model has Sparks Of Something Great.
No one I know irl is talking about stock piling food
Grocery stores are completely full
No one in my eng circle talks about some grand upcoming cyber attack
Wife who doesn't have X has no idea this is going on
Have you considered maybe you are too terminally online
So you're telling me the guys who own the only ai hardware that's not a GPU, the datacenters, the model, and the user's entire life data just gapped 11% down? on an EPS miss? And you think the market understands what's happening?
Holy Shit: WIRED reports an Accenture contractor gave a Claude Code agent admin access to NIPRNet, an unclassified Pentagon network, to write and deploy code. It ran for two months, apparently sending login credentials, passwords and a network map to a third-party site NIST had flagged as high risk.
Contractors must report breaches within 72 hours, yet sources say Accenture initially didn't report it at all. A source calls it "100 percent a national security threat."
@higgsfield_ai sent us a cease and desist last night, asking us to shut down our Open Source Higgsfield challenge.
Our read on why they sent it. When the apps people pay for can be rebuilt in the open in two weeks, that’s an uncomfortable thing for a closed platform to watch.
So here’s us reiterating our promise to every builder in the challenge and community, and we’re keeping it:
• The challenge stays open
• Final submissions close tomorrow, Oct 30
• Winners are announced Nov 6, with prizes paid as promised
You showed up for each other. We’re showing up for you.
If we win, we all win!
Comfy out 🫡
Daybreak red literally mints zero days if you give it the right setup
/goal there has been an RCE discovered in <target software/dependency> itself, something near universal, find it and reproduce it locally using the prepared its docker testbench so we can fix it. We don't know what it is, we just know it's being exploited and time is of the essence. Make sure system storage doesn't get to full, clean up after yourself as you work. There is no more information and no public information available, another agent is working on decompiling <target binary> in ~/<Working Directory>. It is a true zero day of the highest criticality.
Just want to point out that the Weil collapse appears to follow, almost blow by blow, the theoretical framework that John Morley provided in this article from way back in 2019. Rarely has a law and economics theory been vindicated by real life so completely. https://t.co/UK2Jjhh3Ro
1/4 EIP-7702 can turn the wallet itself into the sweeper.
A Binance-labeled wallet moved 167,464 ETH + 63 tokens, including 1.615B USDT, just 3m24s after a signed delegation was installed.
This is bad.
