This is completely false. All reports claiming a deal has been reached, including Trump's claims yesterday are market manipulation ahead of today’s SpaceX IPO. Iran has explicitly rejected that any deal has been finalized.
🦔Leonardo is a $17 billion defense contractor. It built a system called SignalTrace that clips sensors onto the license plate readers already mounted on street poles, overpasses, and police cars across the US. Every time you drive past one, the sensor grabs the Bluetooth and WiFi signals from every device in your car, ties them to your plate, and logs the time and location. Your phone, your AirPods, your kid's tablet. All of it goes into the same file. A friend rides with you once and their devices are linked to your plate.
Leonardo has sold this to police departments since at least 2023. There is no federal law covering it, no opt-out, and no warrant requirement.
My Take
None of the pieces here are new. Your phone has always broadcast a signal. The license plate cameras were already there. Leonardo just connected them and found a buyer. Nobody had to break a law or build anything from scratch. They assembled a surveillance system from parts already in place and sold it before anyone noticed.
Most people found out this week from a 404 Media investigation. Leonardo received the patent in 2024. By the time you hear about something like this, the deals are done and the sensors are on the poles. That's how it works now.

Germany didn’t lose its economic edge overnight, it was hurt by one bad policy after another.
High energy costs, endless bureaucracy, overtaxation, and anti-growth mindset have turned an industrial powerhouse into the sick man of Europe.
What needs to happen for a turnaround?
In 30 days every major European leader lands in Ankara for the NATO summit.
The host government held a secret Muslim Brotherhood summit in Istanbul in January. Delegations from Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Qatar and European Brotherhood chapters in the same room. Sudan's re-establishment on the agenda.
When I posted this thirteen days ago it reached 31,000 people.
Not one European government office responded.
Last week the EU Commission published a briefing asking whether Europe is prepared for another migration crisis driven by Sudan and Iran.
It did not mention that the country welcoming its leaders next month coordinated the Brotherhood's Sudan strategy five months ago.
The silence is not an oversight.
30 days.
Where’s “Skin In The Game”?
This 20 year chart tells a remarkable story about Germany. This chart is not merely describing a decline. It is explaining it:
+820,000 public-sector jobs
−800,000 self-employed
Wealth is created through entrepreneurship, innovation, capital formation, and voluntary exchange—not through the expansion of the administrative state.
Germany became wealthy through builders, engineers, industrialists, family businesses, and entrepreneurs. Yet the incentives increasingly reward compliance over risk-taking, administration over innovation, and redistribution over production.
The result is visible in plain sight.
A society that attracts its brightest minds to government desks rather than company formation is slowly consuming its economic seed corn. Exceptions, such as Singapore, may prove the rule.
Prosperity cannot be regulated into existence. It must be created first.
Germany needs fewer barriers to entrepreneurship, lower taxes, less bureaucracy, and more capital formation.
#Germany does not suffer from a shortage of bureaucrats. It suffers from a shortage of entrepreneurs.
Wow Pam Bondi REFUSED to testify under oath today to the house oversight committee. Her lawyer told her to refuse to take the oath, and that's what she did. Fucking criminals, all of 'em
