The absolute worst part of what is a violent and dangerous game. Prayers, positive energy, and whatever else you’ve got for Damar Hamlin. This is as scary as it gets.
@hpdailyrant I’ve been working hard to do continue transitioning more full-time in UX/Experience Strategy. I’m wondering what resources you might recommend as I continue my journey of continual improvement and growth. Thanks!
@sarahdoody “Made to Stick” by Dan & Chip Heath. It’s one of the best books on how to defend ideas I’ve ever read. It’s a must-read for any designer, and almost never gets any mention.
This is 100% the fault of these #PumpkinStans like @andyvitale to have this already showing up in the droves it is. Have you no hearts for us clinging to the frayed ends of our brief Michigan summer?
I just subscribed to Proof of Concept https://t.co/wN1oHlftuH
@davidhoang has been a really good follow for me as I transitioned from ID to #UX. I can’t recommend his writings enough. Equal parts humility and wisdom.
@hpdailyrant I’m really hard on myself too, and it’s been a barrier to progress and growth for me, I’m sure. How have you found ways to alleviate the self-imposed pressure? Or, like me, is that just not a thing? 😬
@davidhoang I don’t have an answer as to “who” right now, but I have a profound fascination for design systems, and I hope that I get the honor of working on one someday! I’m following this tweet for more names to follow and gain inspiration from.
@MzPunkinPants I’m an Industrial Designer who made the switch to UX. If I can help in any way, I’m happy to. Even chatting with him to discuss what worked for me and how I approached interviews may be relevant. Here if it’s helpful!
