America barely survived its infancy 250 years ago. 1776 was the brightest but also maybe the darkest year in American history.
Many miracles helped birth America, but perhaps the biggest was no miracle at all. It was the bravery of the 1st Maryland at the Battle of Long Island.
In a World Cup host city. Met several international fans here visiting the U.S. and not a globalist among them, all here supporting their country. They have all been warm, friendly, supportive, and replete with stories of American hospitality.
Nationalism isnโt dangerous, harmful, or racist. One can love and support oneโs own country and culture while still appreciating, respecting, and enjoying the country and culture of others.
If diversity is our strength (as humans), our individual cultures are its backbone. Homogeneity shouldnโt be the goal, it is the ideology of destruction and chaos.
Globalism leads to the destruction of distinct cultures and forces everyone to a cultural mean. Thatโs not love, empathy, or respect, it is cruel, arrogant, and evil.
So, let us all learn from the example the World Cup provides; support our teams and culture while appreciating those of others.
Our humanity unites us while our individuality defines us. We are all the better for appreciating and celebrating both.

Love these posts; for what they are and for the deeper sense of appreciation they elicit in me. A man can be overcome by the blessings life brings such that he becomes accustomed to them and no longer recognizes them as what they are. Your words have helped me see again. Thank you sir!
